Why are you applying for Internal Security Inspector?
I am applying for Internal Security Inspector because I want to do something meaningful for the department and ensure that it keeps functioning at a high level. During my entire period in ISD, I've managed to gain a deep respect for the work that is done by this department of the Foundation. The tasks of the department include, but are not limited to, providing accountability and consistency, enforcing the Legal Code, conducting investigations, and ensuring that all personnel adhere to the rules. During my period in the department, I've managed to gain quite a bit of experience in conducting investigations, reporting on them, and interacting with personnel from various departments. As a result, I now have an understanding of how much importance there is to be placed on such factors as effective leadership, communication, and consistency. I think that my experience will be able to help both me and personnel of ISD. Finally, I am applying because I find it enjoyable. I love being involved in investigations and helping personnel solve problems, and it is precisely what this department does. I want to keep contributing to the department's work, especially since it would enable me to assist in raising new investigators' qualifications.

What makes you suitable for Internal Security Inspector?:
Based on my experience and professionalism, I feel I am the right candidate for this job of Internal Security Inspector. In my work with ISD, I have investigated many cases where protocol was violated, or any other misconduct took place, as well as cases related to Legal Code violation. This has included gathering evidence, analyzing witnesses' testimonies, drawing conclusions from the evidence, and making decisions. It is important to keep in mind that when dealing with investigations, one needs to stay objective and focused. Sometimes it happens that there are different accounts of the same event, emotional people, or partial information. When investigating such cases, it is crucial not to get carried away by emotions but to rely on the evidence, as well as policies of the Foundation. Another strength of mine is that I always seek improvement and do not let setbacks discourage me. It must be understood that everybody makes mistakes sometimes. I consider mistakes learning experiences and do my best to benefit from them. This will also help me to mentor new investigators as they try to improve their performance. Moreover, I have gained experience in report and documentation writing concerning investigations and incidents. Report/documentation writing is one of the most critical parts of Internal Security, and I am proud to deliver a highly accurate report.

What do you think describes an ideal Internal Security Inspector?:
Ideally, an Internal Security Inspector must be a person who shows professionalism, integrity, consistency, and impartiality at all times. The inspector must be able to make tough decisions, while still being consistent and focusing on the objective. He/She must make decisions that are founded on evidence, the Foundation's regulations, and protocol without succumbing to personal considerations or external pressure. The second most important feature of an Inspector is that he/she must be a mentor to colleagues. Internal Security operations work through a lot of team effort, and new employees look up to their colleagues for assistance. Ideally, an efficient inspector must be open and willing to mentor other members in terms of investigation skills, documentation skills, and general department practices. Lastly, communication plays an essential role in any security agency. The ideal Inspector must have good communication skills and be able to guide personnel through various investigations.

How many major, roleplay-serving documents have you written? What makes a document of this nature good in terms of quality?:
As a member of the Foundation community, I have posted arrest reports, drafted investigation reports (especially on 'Dilly'), and other types of reports that were needed for the sake of roleplaying. Such reports could describe different incidents, such as arrest or even some deeper investigations that included multiple witnesses, gathering pieces of evidence, or breaking policies. In addition, I spent much time working on my proposals and ideas related to improvement and creation of new roleplaying opportunities. I am convinced that any kind of report is extremely important, as it ensures transparency and preservation of information. To begin with, a good report must be professional and informative. Moreover, a person who was not an observer at the moment when this situation occurred should be able to read the report and understand everything about the case. It is crucial to know who participated in this situation, what pieces of evidence were collected, how the result of the report was reached, and so on. Thus, a good report must include good formatting, proper grammar usage, accurate information, and enough details. Nevertheless, most importantly, reports must be as objective as possible.

What are the responsibilities of the Internal Security Inspector in RP?:
The duties of an Internal Security Inspector involve managing investigations, aiding junior members, adhering to internal department standards, and ensuring that Internal Security conducts its operations with professionalism and effectiveness. Inspectors are charged with the duty of assisting Investigators, Agents, and Operatives manage situations properly. This entails guiding Investigative processes, examining evidence gathered, responding to questions pertaining to investigation procedure, and ensuring that policies of the foundation are followed strictly. Furthermore, Inspectors are crucial in enforcing professionalism in the Internal Security Department. Their roles include addressing cases of misconduct when necessary, managing disputes among personnel, and ensuring that departmental personnel conduct themselves with professionalism. Lastly, Inspectors are likely to be involved in more complex investigative procedures where higher clearance personnel are involved. Such investigations require professionalism, discretion, and proper judgment in handling such sensitive matters.Apart from investigating cases, Inspectors aid in general department development through training personnel, promoting professional investigative practice, and creating an atmosphere conducive to development of personnel.

Please elaborate on why you think you'd be a good leadership position holder for Internal Security:
I am confident that I will make a good candidate for a leadership position because I recognize that good leadership depends on being consistent, accountable, communicative, and trustworthy. Personnel should not be afraid of consulting their leaders, trusting that any decision made would be a result of professional processes. Leadership style would include mentoring as well as developing. Though the importance of enforcing standards cannot be overestimated, I consider it necessary to explain why certain standards have been set and how one can benefit from making the right moves in order to avoid making mistakes. Mentoring personnel helps me and them improve. Leading by example is something I am convinced of. Professionalism, high-quality investigation, proper documentation and appropriate conduct are things that should be observed both by leadership and all other personnel. These are standards which I follow myself and will continue doing so in case I become an Inspector. Finally, there is no doubt that I will want to contribute to the development of the Department by participating in investigations, mentoring personnel, providing suggestions as to how the department could be improved, or even creating new roleplay scenarios.

Please give some lore about your Internal Security Inspector character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Anthony "Light" Sanchez was introduced to the Foundation by the Research department. Similar to many researchers, his objective was to contribute to the understanding and knowledge of anomalies as well as aid in their containment. In the research department, Anthony witnessed both the best and worst elements of the Foundation in action. Although most people were professional, Anthony found that negligence, misuse of power, abuse, and lack of adherence to the rules by those believing they were above the rules happened too often for him not to be bothered. What at first irritated him grew into an awareness of a problem concerning accountability in the Foundation. Anthony observed situations in which juniors were intimidated into keeping silent; when employees were lax in adhering to the guidelines; and when people misused their power. Anthony gradually realized that if the Foundation did not have discipline and accountability among their members, they would never be able to contain anomalies. Rather than continue working in Research, Anthony decided to change careers and join Internal Security Division. It is Anthony’s belief that preventing the corruption of members of the organization is as important as containment of anomalies. Since joining the ISD, Anthony has earned a reputation of being fair, professional, and diligent in his investigations. While Anthony is adamant about accountability, he realizes that all people make mistakes and not all those mistakes happen because the individual is evil. As a result, Anthony approaches investigation of any incident with an even hand, seeking only the truth. Being an Internal Security Inspector, the main roleplay theme for Anthony would be conducting investigations related to corruption, abuses of power, misconduct, and bad faith within various departments of the Foundation. In particular, he should try his best to collaborate with Department Heads, Senior Command members, and other leadership positions within various departments in order to prevent any potential issues from developing into something worse. Anthony should not wait until there are incidents of misconduct; instead, he will do everything possible in order to establish good relationships with the leadership of various departments of the Foundation and foster cooperation. The majority of storylines in which Anthony will participate will deal with investigation of corruption within Junior Command structures, allegations of favoritism and abuse of power, neglect, or other kinds of misconduct. Such investigation will be not just aimed at punishing those who have violated some regulations but at raising standards within various departments of the Foundation. His ultimate goal will be to ensure that no one, no matter what position he or she occupies, stands above the law.
