-I have been here for quite some time and I love participating in GENSEC activities, I love the server and the people that come into the server, it's been quite a blast playing every time I get on so I wanna get more involved.
What makes you suitable for Security Captain?:
I feel I'd bring a good bit to the table, I have quite a bit of experience I know most the ins and outs of GENSEC, ofcourse there is always more to learn but I'm willing to learn, I'm fairly active and I'm hoping to improve the way GENSEC operate and bring a level of responsibility so they can improve as a whole and operate more efficiently in times of emergency.
What are the responsibilities of the Security Captain in RP?:
-As a Security Captain, your job is to maintain and protect D-Block so that it functions as a hub of scientific advancement while preventing D-Class persons from escaping containment. This requires not just controlling the grouping of people within D-Block but also effectively directing them. Using rapid and smart thinking, you'll assign individuals to Points of Interest (POIs) and be ready to take charge right away in an emergency.
Please give some lore about your Security Captain character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Cheech had always been drawn to order and discipline. From a young age, he admired the heroes in uniform who maintained safety and security in his neighborhood. As he grew older, that admiration evolved into a clear career goal. To become a security officer and work his way up the ranks.
He began his journey as a cadet at the local security academy, where he absorbed knowledge like a sponge. Cheech was never the most physically imposing cadet, but he compensated with dedication and a sharp mind. His instructors noticed his unwavering commitment to the job, and he quickly graduated at the top of his class.
His first assignment was as a junior security officer at a high-tech research facility, tasked with ensuring the safety of both the facility's staff and its classified projects. Cheech took his responsibilities seriously, diligently patrolling the corridors, monitoring security cameras, and assisting with access control. He learned the importance of protocol and the value of teamwork.
Over the years, Cheech climbed the ranks, advancing from an cadet to a sergeant. He earned the respect of his peers and superiors with his reliability, leadership skills, and unshakeable dedication to the security of the facility. However, Cheech was always looking to challenge himself further.
One day, during a routine security briefing, he learned about the elite Mobile Task Force (MTF) unit assigned to the facility. These agents were known for their exceptional professionalism and efficiency in handling anomalies and security breaches. Cheech was captivated by their dedication to the job and their ability to maintain the highest standards of security after assisting them contain an anomaly.
It was then that Cheech realized his true calling. Instead of aspiring to be apart of an MTF unit, he wanted to bring that level of professionalism and excellence to the normal GENSEC ranks. He believed that by becoming a captain for GENSEC, he could help elevate the entire organization to new heights.
To achieve this, Cheech approached his superiors and requested a clear path for advancement within GENSEC. He wanted to implement the best practices he had observed within the MTF unit and instill a culture of unwavering dedication, attention to detail, and commitment to security in the regular security officers.
