What Ethics Committee role are you applying for, and why:
- Ethics Committee member, I have a few reasons. Firstly, I am applying to ECM because I have wanted, ever since I was an IA ambassador, that the laws of the Foundation were upheld, and I spent a long time doing that. But I also just want the server to be more fun overall—that’s why I joined Site Admin to help. And now, after being in SA for 7 months, I want to move on to the Ethics Committee to continue upholding the Foundation’s law and let others move up in SA. I also enjoy working with ISD, which is something I can do as Ethics works closely with the ISD department.
What makes you the best candidate for the Ethics Committee?:
-The fact that I have great experience—as I said, I spent a while in IA/ISD helping to uphold the FLC, CoE, and CoC, and dealing with the old justice systems. To be able to do this, I had—and still have—a great knowledge of the CoE, which I think is an important quality for an ECM. I have also been in SA for a while, which has taught me how to deal with problems and crisis management. I strive to use the position of ECM to simply make the server more fun to play on.
What are the responsibilities of the Ethics Committee in RP?:
Authing AA
Authing kos past airlock
Giving orders to O1 to do (including investigations)
Working with ISD to make sure the CoE And CoC is upheld (including investigations)
Changing the CoE when needed
Promoting ISD directors
Organizing tribunals on personnel as needed
Working with O5 to make sure what they are doing is ethical
Calling ERT if needed
Nuking if needed
Organizing assistants to help with the Committees work
Signing work permits for behaving d-class
Approval of tests that require Ethics if it seems reasonable enough
Demotion appeals

They Vote on ISD Director apps
They Give input on ECM apps while chairman has the final say
They vote on ecm apps
