- Yes, I've received 2 warnings for Fail-RP, these both being from me simply not understanding the rules. These were also from when I was more new to the server. I treated both of these as learning experiences and I believe I have improved myself due to receiving these warns. These happened in February, and July of 2023.
Why are you applying for Medical Consultant?
- I'm applying for the position of Medical Consultant for multiple reasons, I believe I'm ready to take the leap forward in medical and apply for this CL4 position. I enjoy practicing medicine as a whole. I also appreciate how the department is setup and ran. The people in medical are wonderful to be around and never cease to make a RP situation more enjoyable for everyone involved and I would love to be able to say I am a part of the medical team one day.
What makes you suitable for Medical Consultant?: I believe that I'm suitable for consultant due to my willingness and desire to help and assist the new people on the server, I have the experience of a doctor in medical, as well as participating as a Nu-7 Medic. Also, assisting Medical Trainees or new Doctors is something I'm willing and wanting to do. I know my way around the site and I know the expectations of a CL4 personnel. I'm ready to do anything the foundation would need me to do for or in this position.
Please explain an in-game medical procedure of your choice:
--Electro-Shock Therapy (EST)
Electro-Shock Therapy (EST) is a treatment to a wide range of ailments, be it you misplaced your keycard, were affected by an anomaly or have contracted a dangerous disease, Electro-Shock Therapy could be the cure to it. EST is started by the recipient requesting EST (in some situations they do not have say in the matter) they then consent and answer if they have been resuscitated previously, if they have the EST procedure will end in their demise. The doctor giving the EST treatment will ask the recipient to face the wall and hit them with the EST harpoon, they will lose their pulse briefly and the doctor will request they don't stray too far into the light as they attempt to resuscitate them with their defibrillators. Hopefully, when the patient is resuscitated they will render any medical aid required and send them back into their field of work.
What are the responsibilities of the Medical Consultant in RP?:
- To watch over the medical department as well as assist doctors and trainees with any questions or concerns they may have, they also will give the test required for a medical license. They have say on what medical operations occur unless they're overruled by the DoM or a Level 5 member of staff.
Please give some lore about your Medical Consultant character and what storylines they would be involved in:
- Jesus Eisenhower was a normal man, born on a ranch in Texas he learned his ways around farming and farm animals, this included accidents with farm equipment and helping with the farm animals health. From a young age Jesus was assisting others with small things such as scratches and sprains, to fractures and hemorrhaging. After his teens he went into further education for the medical field. He received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree, and went to work at an animal hospital. Years later, his town was attacked by an anomaly, and his head was effected by said anomaly, portions of it were deformed, and others became translucent, his skin, bones, organs, everything, he was given the nickname "Freakhead". When the SCP foundation came to contain the anomaly, he was spotted helping render aide to those effected and offering it to foundation personnel. They evaluated him and next thing he knew he was a doctor with the SCP foundation. Jesus would like to peruse neurosurgery and hopes to learn more about the medical field with his time in the medical department.
