Bazyli Kowalczyk

List all the names of the characters that you use (Foundation, Civillian, e.t.c.):

Foundation - Bazyli Kowalczyk

Civilian - Ksawery Wozniak

Is this the first application you made? If no, link all previous applications:

Yes

Have you received any kicks/warns/bans, and if so, why (type /warnings in-game):

Never, at any point

How many hours can you be on everyday:

Usually 2-3 in any particular sitting. I work 10 hour work-days with a 1 hour commute in each direction, so I don't have a lot of "personal" time on workdays. I only have a 4-day work week though, so Friday Saturday and Sunday are usually fully open for me.

Do you have any previous experience as a Gamemaster/Event Manager in a community:

No, this would be my first!

Do you have any advanced skills that would benefit the GM team, such as PAC-3, dupes building, art creation and others? If yes, give us your best example of putting that skill into practice:

I have been involved in establishing multiple RP events within my current role in the Internal Security Department; through tribunals, in-game events, and day-to-day operations. This would be my first time being involved in a GM-type role though.

Please list one RP Enhancement for a Foundation Department/MTF:

When Foundation tribunals occur, setting up a better structured tribunal hall dupe on the GM plane can significantly help in the quality of the tribunals if they are running in to constant griefing issues.

Please list one RP Enhancement for a Non-Foundation Group:

A news station sets up shop in the town, and publishes an ad offering a reward for pictures of paranormal activity in the area. This event would be particularly geared towards Parawatch, and encourage them to probe the world and interact with the other factions.

Please list one Event idea for the United Nations Global Occult Coalition:

Invasion of Canada by a foreign military force. The invasion is completely unrelated to the nature of SCP's, and is a regular military invasion. This would throw the UN in to peacekeeping operations to repel a military invasion, with the possibility of SCP's getting involved half way through the invasion of Canada.

Please list one Event idea for the Chaos Insurgency:

Relations between UNGOC and the Foundation have decayed to an all-time low. With growing doubt and concern about the Foundation's ability to secure and contain dangerous SCP's, the UN decides it is time to take matters in to their own hands without taking matters in to their own hands. The Chaos Insurgency is hired on as military contractors with the goal of recovering and delivering several of the Foundation's most dangerous SCP's to the UNGOC facility for safer keeping than what the Foundation has demonstrated.

Please list one Event idea for the SCP Foundation:

With little warning, the foundation reactor explodes, plunging the foundation in to absolute darkness, with pockets of high levels of radiation being spread throughout the facility through the ventilation system. Careful navigation through the facility is required to avoid any areas of contamination while facilitating repairs across the facility, and recapturing a set of SCPs that escaped containment during the loss of power.

Please list a Major Event or Map Change idea (Involving all sides and the entire server):

Map Change Event - Several SCP's have been reported in a Canadian urban area. Map change is required to a dense urban map for members of the foundation to attempt to contain and recover the SCP's, while protecting the civilian population of the city as best as they are able to, while also ensuring they are unable to remember what they saw. Likely to be a joint event between Foundation and UNGOC, with a large number of civilians needed as well.

Major Event - A financial crisis has hit the world, with most countries undergoing a deep financial depression. The SCP foundation is not exempt from this global event either, and cutbacks need to be made in the name of keeping the lights on. The foundation can't purchase all of the expensive equipment that it usually does; combative departments are limited to foundation-issue sidearms only so that E-11 can keep the few meager primary weapons that they are able to afford. Some of the more expensive SCPs had to be sold off to other sites within the foundation, or other organizations. Not to worry though, the foundation has found suitable replacements which are cheaper to contain and have the potential to be more profitable for the foundation as well. On that note, the research department is strongly...encouraged...to always think of financial impact when conducting research activities until the crisis passes. Any research activities which happen to benefit the foundations financial situation would be seen in...a particularly positive light. For in fact, the situation has gotten so dire that the site can't afford to keep all 3 reactors fueled & running at the same time, sometimes one or two will need to be shut off! If we can't find cash soon enough, you may find that the luxurious furniture and fittings around the foundation may have to be replaced with...cheaper...alternatives.

What elements can make an event unenjoyable? Include one example, avoiding the typical answers if possible.

Events being restricted to just one particular faction or group within a faction can make people feel left out, and also less likely to play other roles on the server. It's important to ensure a balance of events being made for all of the various factions within the server, so that all roles are able to get activity.

And finally, what do you wish to achieve by becoming a Gamemaster?

I hope to bring life to some of the lesser-played and sometimes overlooked job roles, by providing a series of unique and interesting RP events that help break up the monotony of the day-to-day gameplay loops.
