Why are you applying for Security Captain?
GSD Leadership has expressed an interest in more Captains to improve the health of the security branch, and given my experience in both leadership, and site security, I believe now is a great time to join the captain team. On top of this, I've ran into issues where the SGT role, and the authority invested in it, are not enough to properly deal with situations faced at late night. I also find it fun to help new players adjust to the server, often taking time to give them a tour of key areas and helping understand their role in the facility, and with the captain position I will have a much easier time doing so. Lastly, dealing with insubordinate personnel and being cut off from effectively responding to arising situations has pushed me to strive for the captain position, so I may keep foundation effective even during off hours.
What makes you suitable for Security Captain?:
My former position in Alpha-1 allowed me to develop a competent understanding of both leadership and site security. As part of tertiary duties, I handled many situations that overlap with general securities duties and can effectively respond to and combat problems as they arise. I have experience running a regiment, ordering subordinates, leading sweeps, organizing multiple groups, and combating CI/SCPs/D-class, all of which are key to a capable captain. On top of this, I have a good understanding of the department and its goals, and could play a part in enacting the vision of GSD leadership moving forward. I was also among some of the first to become a SGT during the Gensec rework, and have used the role when security leadership is lacking since then. While that was fine for the time, I wish to pursue more impactful role within the team, and have cleared myself of other commitments to focus more and bring my all to the general security.

Acquisition
The earliest file on record relating to Harlequin is by MTF Iota-10 designated “Damn feds”. The file has designated the future foundation personnel as a high value asset due to a senior position within the FBIs Unusual Incident Unit, GoI-102. Harlequin was tasked with a series of bust on anomalous groups including GoI-0267 "Are we cool yet", and GoI-012 "Marshal Carter & Dark". During these missions, he would unknowingly operate as a tool for the Foundation and secure assets without risking MTF personnel. The peak of this career would be the an arms trade bust involving MC&D, as well as GoI-012 "Chaos Insurgency". The unit was very underequipped for the bust, but with good leadership and cleaver tactics they were able to eliminate a majority of the combatants. Ultimately when the situation seemed advantageous for the Foundation, MTF NU-7 was deployed to quickly sweep up what's left and take the anomalous arms for containment. Members of the UIU team who proved themselves assets to the foundation were given a choice to join, among the group was Harlequin. He would start is short tenor as a GENSEC 4 days after the operation.
Career
A short time was spent in general security before being recruited into MTF Unit Epsilon-11, designated “Nine Tailed Fox”. He reached the role of LCPL quickly and found himself within a small group including Einhardt, Garry Davis, and Kingly. This unofficial squad was efficient and found themselves tackling the most damaging of breaches. Volunteering to fight on the front lines typically put the group in the eyes of Alpha-1 designated [The Red Right Hand], and this all led up to a defining moment. Harlequin and another now deceased E-11 member “████” converged on 914 after a callout of misuse was made. Harlequin went into the watchtower and called out that it was a site inspector and director, but the other E-11 had breached and instinctively shot the site director. Harlequin upon realizing what had happened shot and downed the fellow E-11 and ran to get medical aid. Luckily, no one was killed in the entirety of the situation, but Harlequin and the later deceased E-11 were scolded. Harlequin was noticed by Alpha-1 MAJ "███████" for his quick reaction time however, and would be abducted shortly after in the next recruitment cycle of Alpha-1.
Active Assignment
Following Incident [DATA EXPUNGED], Harlequin put in a request for honorable discharge. Following approval, his duties memories of Alpha-1 were wiped and he went on to work within the security department as a SGT, sharing goals and ambitions similar to the security personnel who inspired him long ago.
