What makes you the best candidate for Ethics Committee Assistant?:
What makes me the best candidate for Ethics Committee Assistant is my experience, dedication, skills, qualities and traits. Over the extended period of time I've played on Civil Network, I've held various positions of high regard, responsibility, and authority. From being a Security Captain, to being O5-8 "The Ambassador" when the US Server first opened. Now I'm here, with much experience which I am fully willing to share with others in order to create the best and most efficient experience I can for the people of this community.
My dedication for this community is unwavering. I've stuck with this community despite all hardships and obstacles thrown at me. I've always persevered and remained loyal, doing my best to provide a good experience for others. I've spent dozens ontop of dozens of hours on this community, always working to make a positive impact. And with this dedication and experience comes many skills, qualities, and traits that I've developed and learned over time. Over my time here in Civil Network alone, I've learned many things about how to be an effective leader within the community. I've also learned small traits that make interactions with me more enjoyable for others; including how to be courteous and respectful of other people and the ability to socialize and make healthy friendships within the community.
Overall, I have many qualities and skills that I can bring to the table which make me a great candidate for this position. Being an Ethics Assistant will allow me to begin to reach my full potential on how I can benefit this community and create a positive and safe environment for everyone.
What are the responsibilities of Ethics Committee Assistants in RP?:
Ethics Committee Assistants are responsible for the effective execution of orders which the Ethics Committee has brought upon the Assistant. The Assistants are also responsible for assisting the Ethics Committee with enforcing the Code of Ethics and reviewing different departments while reporting the results to the Ethics Committee.
Please give some lore about your Ethics Committee Assistant character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Jason Kaine was a Police Officer serving in New Jersey State Policefor some years, acting as a normal patrol officer he dealt with some of the weirdest and most gruesome situations the state had to offer. After a while, Jason Kaine saw plenty of death, destruction and terrible hostage situations in his career. He felt that being a normal Patrol Officer wasn't enough to make a true difference, to really save peoples lives. So, he decided to try for the New Jersey State S.E.R.T. He passed their tryouts and physical exams with flying colors, having excellent marksmanship and firearm training, defusal techniques, and known all round to be an Officer who excels at their job and has true intentions. Jason then served as a S.E.R.T Breacher for New Jersey for several years, he felt content with his work as he ended up saving a lot of innocent lives put in danger by lunatics, disturbed people or abusers.
In 2021, Jason and his team were responding to a potential active shooter situation inside of a Residence in Sussex County. Officers were unable to make contact, so Lukas and the rest of his team arrived and breached the building. Upon entry, the team began to sweep the house starting with the first floor. Shortly after, another person jumped onto Jason and began to bite him. This person suffered severe damage to the abdomen and head, but somehow was still alive and trying to bite and scratch at Jason. Another member of the team shot the suspect in the head, where it immediately went down. Jason got up, but after the shot several more people came running down from the second floor and attacked the team. Jason opened fire on all of them, and after a brief conflict, they were all dead on the ground. And so were two members of the team, mauled to death by these "people". The team began to clear the rest of the house, and reported the situation on radio. However, there was no response from dispatch or anyone. The team went back downstairs to regroup and exit the house, but a team of armed soldiers wearing hazmat suits entered the building and identified themselves as national guard. The soldiers ordered the team to put their weapons down, which we followed after they showed a valid identification clarifying that they are who they say they are. The soldiers detained the team and sweeped the house, returning and taking the bodycam footage of the team before taking Jason and his team to the soldiers APC. They were all transported to a facility, 2 hours away from the house.
Eventually, the footage was reviewed and men in suits approached the team in the facility, identifying themselves as members of an organization called the SCP Foundation. The Foundation decided that Jason and the surviving members of his team would be good soldiers for the Foundation, most notably as Internal Affairs at one of their high security facilities. After the debrief, Jason realized that this could be his chance to really make a difference to humanity as a whole, and not just New Jersey. He accepted the offer, and was hired as a D.I.A Agent and eventually, Security Sergeant at Site-64.
Overall, Jason Kaine is the type of character that understands the "for the greater good" mentality the Foundation has. He wants to help people, and recognizes that to help the most people he needs to make sacrifices of others. Jason also understands and feels sympathy for the abuse other people within the Foundation, and even the Class-D, must go through. Jason wants to do whatever he can in order to minimize this suffering of others, and create a better environment for him. As laid back as Jason may seem, he had pure intentions and is capable of completing tasks and changing his behavior within a moments notice for the good of the people.
