Assistant [REDACTED] silently approaches the Council table, carrying a single bound dossier stamped CLASSIFIED. Without a word, the file is placed in the centre of the room before the Council.

Assistant [REDACTED] steps back.

A brief silence settles over the chamber.

O5-8 reaches forward, resting a hand on the cover of the dossier. The seal breaks with a quiet snap as the file is opened.

Their eyes scan the first page before slowly turning it toward the centre of the table, allowing the remaining members of the Council to read.

No words are exchanged.

Only the sound of paper turning echoes through the room.

Why are you applying for Site Director?

I am applying for this role because of what I can bring to it, not simply because of what the role currently is. I am applying for the role that I should become.

My goal is to set the standard for the future of Site Admin by building the ownership and leadership that the department can achieve. I believe Site Admin has not always operated to its full potential, and I intend to change that.

Before I joined Site Admin, there were several gaps in the way the department operated. It was often in a reactive "fixing mode" rather than taking a proactive approach to identifying and preventing issues. If a Site Director is not aware of problems as they begin to develop, it is unrealistic to expect Advisors or Managers to identify them either. Important conversations were being lost within our general chat, VTime logging was not being tracked, and monthly departmental reviews did not exist. As a result, the next person stepping into the oversight often had limited knowledge of ongoing priorities. In many situations, NL and SL were making Site Admin aware of issues instead of Site Admin identifying and managing them first.

I implemented changes to address them. I introduced VTime logging, created monthly departmental reviews, created better systems for tracking important discussions, and shifted the department toward a more proactive way of thinking. These were not in place before I joined, and they exist today because I took the initiative to build them. This is why I am applying for the role. I do not want to simply maintain what already exists. I want to continue developing Site Admin into a department that leads by example.

Beyond these improvements, I also want to raise the standard of roleplay that Site Admin provides. The department should not exist solely to react to issues or enforce policy; it should actively contribute to creating engaging, meaningful roleplay experiences for the site.

I want Site Admin to be known as a department that drives storylines, supports other departments, and enhances the overall experience through creativity and leadership.

Ultimately, my goal is for Site Admin to be recognised not only for its organisation and efficiency but also for the quality of roleplay and leadership it brings to the server.

What makes you suitable for the Site Director over the Site Advisor?

I believe I am better suited for the Site Director role because I have a clear vision for what Site Admin should be and, more importantly, I have already demonstrated my ability to push these changes. Rather than simply maintaining the department, I want to reinvent it.

I plan to achieve this by using the key values that I have carried throughout every leadership role I have held on the site: Roleplay, Activity, and Communication.

Roleplay

Site Admin and the Site Director are among the primary creators of site wide roleplay. The department should be creating opportunities that involve multiple groups and provide engaging experiences for the community. At present, this is often done on a smaller scale than it could be.

I have already shown my ability to create large-scale roleplay through events such as the Anderson Robotics storyline, the U.N.G.O.C. war, and several upcoming projects, including the creation of Employee Hearings, where personnel will have a chance to have charges wiped off their record. These events have generated hours of roleplay across multiple departments and have encouraged player interaction rather than passive participation.

When I first joined Site Admin, I was what many would describe as a "brain-rot" roleplayer. While it generated activity, I recognised that it did not create the quality of interactions I wanted to see. I’ve changed my approach and focused on delivering immersive, meaningful roleplay that benefits the wider community.

Activity

Meaningful change requires consistent presence. I would not apply for Site Director if I could not dedicate the time necessary to perform the role effectively. I have shown the commitment to take on the position in full and continue delivering the best outcomes for the site.

I have already invested hours into meetings, planning, and improving Site Admin, and I am prepared to dedicate even more time to ensuring the department continues to grow and operate at the highest standard.

Communication

Name a time you've not heard me open my big mouth. I'm always in discussions because I want to know.

I have my own ideas on how things should be done, and I want to bring positive change, but that doesn't mean I think I'm always right. I want to hear everyone's opinions before making decisions. Some of the best improvements come from listening to people who are actually dealing with the issues every day.

I also think being approachable is important. If people don't feel comfortable bringing problems or ideas to you, then you can't fix them. I'd rather have people tell me something early than find out when it's already become a bigger issue.

What separates me from other Site Advisor candidates is that I do not simply want to assist in running the department; I want to lead it into a better place. I have a proven record of identifying problems, creating solutions, and providing roleplay that benefits the site.

What are the responsibilities of Site Administration in RP?

The Site Administration role carries a wide range of responsibilities centred around maintaining the site's overall operations and long-term development. This includes reviewing and improving departmental policies, appointing MTF Commanders and Department Directors, overseeing relations with Groups of Interest, and providing support to departments whenever needed. The position requires active involvement in the site's day-to-day progression.

The role also involves working closely with Internal and External Affairs to keep operations running smoothly while conducting passive investigations to uphold the Code of Conduct, Ethics, and FLC. Site Administration monitors departmental performance and overall conditions, ensuring that CL1 through CL3/4 personnel have the support and guidance necessary to effectively carry out their responsibilities.

Beyond administrative responsibilities, Site Administration serves as the primary point of contact for departments both in-character and out-of-character, helping maintain clear communication and coordination across the site.

Please give some lore about your Site Administration character and what storylines they would be involved in:

This guy saved me from a wrongful arrest when I was a poor little cadet who was getting harassed by ISD (even tho I was being a pain in the ass). Seems like a very reasonable individual + has been a pleasure interacting with him.

Josh has been the only person in site admin to do anything for awhile now. There is no other site admin I think who would be good for this position. You have consistently gone above and beyond in places that were not even your issue. I play 3 different characters and I feel like I have to do a lot but you have to handle that and more since no other site admin help you.

To finish my comments off, genuinely you have been great for every department and ISD was lucky to have you when we did. You are the only candidate fit for this position.

Greetings @JoshBlondeau,
It appears my Archrival has attempted to riser the Ranks within the Foundation!?!?
When I played as a Researcher for a bit of Foundation RP I noticed that you had shown exceptional Roleplay Talent.
Not to mention how you stood your ground against the entirety of the Chaos Insurgency's Cell-56 In Order to assert your power against Treasonous Foundation Staff.
I guess I throw in a Support for you.

Keep on Dreaming even if it breaks your heart.
