No Warns, No kicks and No Bans
Why are you applying for Executive Researcher?
I’ve consistently delivered immersive roleplay and evolved from my first document to my latest with clear growth. My tests are structured with depth, purpose, and multiple outcomes to encourage dynamic engagement. During late-night hours, the absence of executive researchers has slowed development for Juniors, Regulars, and Seniors. I’ve stepped in to fill that gap supporting others, reviewing documents, and helping researchers like Kaboing rise from Junior to Senior in just a week. I’ve actively contributed to cognitohazard breach events where live research was essential to understanding GM-driven anomalies.
How many excellent-graded documents have you written? What makes a document excellent?
I’ve got three documents excellent, but I’ve held off uploading the others because I want them to be perfect before they go out. Every test I write starts with a clear purpose, but I always leave room for multiple outcomes these anomalies don’t follow a script, and understanding them means exploring every possibility. I also think the little details matter. Adding things like audio clips or layered formatting gives the document that extra spark and makes the experience feel real, It also helps to add the photo on the first page IFYKYK.
What are the responsibilities of the Executive Researcher in RP?:
An Executive Researcher is responsible for guiding others, setting high standards, and pushing research forward. They support Junior and Regular and Senior Researchers by offering feedback, helping refine documents, and being a reliable presence, especially during quiet hours when leadership is needed most. They’re expected to stay active in testing, not just overseeing but participating with the same level of detail and creativity as everyone else. Execs also handle grading and sign-offs, ensuring submitted work meets quality standards before approval. Their own reports should be thorough and impactful, helping deepen our understanding of anomalies and setting the tone for future research.
Please give some lore about your Executive Researcher character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Josh 'Mayo' Burger began his time at the Foundation as a janitor, quiet, observant, and far removed from the research wing. He never saw himself as the academic type, but late night shifts brought unexpected conversations with researchers. Over time, he asked more questions, offered ideas, and slowly earned their trust. What started as casual curiosity turned into genuine interest, and eventually, a role in active testing. His transition wasn’t planned it was organic, shaped by instinct, persistence, and a desire to understand the anomalies he once cleaned around. Now, Burger is known for his grounded approach and immersive documentation,
