For how long have you played on CG SCP: I started playing on this server nearly 3 years ago and have a current total playtime of 60 days.
Age: 15
In what country are you located?: USA
Time zone: EST
Character name(s): Larry Cee
Civilian name: Tarry C.
What server are you applying for? (SCP-RP UK or SCP-RP USA): USA
Do you have a mic?: Yes
List all whitelisted, MTF, or CI roles that you hold or have held:
Holding: ISD Investigator, Combat Medic, 096
Held: Executive Researcher, Nu-7 SGT, E-11 CPL, DEA Senior Agent, CI-B
Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?:
I was striked over a month ago for writing a rather distasteful document; however, I have no other active punishments.
Why are you applying for Executive Researcher?
I've always had a love for research and this means that I've always kept an eye on how research is going. Now not too long ago, research had hit a drought and there was a lack of people who wanted to be in research. This has shifted under the current executive team and research has become much more alive like it once was but it's still missing a bit of the flare it used to have. I want to bring that flare and passion back to research where people enjoy the rp brought about by tests instead of just writing sampling documents to make a quick profit.
What makes you suitable for Executive Researcher?:
I have the experience and drive to make Research and it's rp better as an executive. I've been an executive before and as such, I have the expertise to make research better. Now, I'm sure that some people are against me becoming an executive again due to the document I had written. This document was obviously an unnecessary and rather rude thing for me to write, especially without provocation. There is no justification for me to have written such a thing; however, in the time since I was executive, I have matured enough to take on the responsibility of being an executive again. Now, if I was to become an executive again, I would focus more on onboarding and training newer researchers. What I've noticed is that newer researchers are usually really interested but usually get upset and lose their spark once they get arrested for not understanding all the rules of testing. This can be changed with a more in depth tour of Research rather than just some talking points.
How many excellent-graded documents have you written? What makes a document excellent?
I haven't written any excellent documents; in fact, I have no written documents on record. This is because I do all of my documents for rp rather than for the xp and money for excellent documents. Regardless of if I have submitted them, I do know what constitutes an excellent document.
I'm breaking it down into 3 parts.
1. Grammar: First, the document has to be understandable. If the grammar is a mess, then the document almost always is denied instantly. This is not the most important factor to making an excellent document, but it is extremely important to have for your document to not be flat out denied.
2. Formatting: A document requires proper formatting and structure. If the order of the document is all over the place, then there's no point in reading it since you have to try and put together a puzzle just to understand a test.
3. Information: This is the most important part of a document. If the other two requirements are met, then the information in the document is the make or break for an excellent document. The information is the lifeblood of the document and without it, there's no point in research. Research is meant to lead the discovery of new information about SCP's and if the document is well written but lacking information, it's useless.
What are the responsibilities of the Executive Researcher in RP?:
The first and most important responsibility of an Executive is to maintain the reputation of the research department. This is done by remaining professional and enforcing punishments, such as job bans, upon RSD who are acting unprofessional and/or breaking the CoC/CoE. Secondly, an Executive Researcher should be inspiring rp within the department by giving advice on documents, suggesting test ideas, and just being generally involved with researchers. Third, executives should be authorizing documents and samplings for Jr. - Sr. Researchers. Lastly, Executives should attempt to maintain good relations with other departments and be the people other departments want to talk to when the situation is not serious enough to warrant the DoR.
Please give some lore about your Executive Researcher character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Larry Cee lived a rather ordinary life before his recruitment to the Foundation. Larry Cee was born 9/25/97 in Orlando, Florida to Mary and Carry Cee. He was raised in the Orlando area and left to obtain PhD's in Chemistry and Biology at ██. He went on to become a forensics officer at OPD and had gained a reputation for being very efficient at his job.
On █/██/20██ Larry had been called to a crime scene involving a corpse that seemed to have been attacked by a rabid animal. The person was not identifiable due to how severe the injuries sustained were. Larry had spent hours cross analyzing the wounds with other animal wounds but none seemed to match. The teeth were too big and the claws were too thick for this to have been any normal animal. During this time, Larry was also analyzing the saliva of the creature that did this, but once again, it didn't match any known animals; however, there was a strange protein found in the saliva. Due to this, he had reported this to his boss, ████ █████. Unknown to Larry, his boss was an SCP foundation implant who was there to report if anyone became aware of any anomalies. The anomaly that caused this attack was an SCP-939 instance who had escaped containment and had not eaten in days. Due to this, Larry was detained and questioned by Foundation before being offered the choice between a job or to be amnesticized. Since you are reading this, you can guess which of those he had chosen.
Larry proceeded to climb up the research chain. Starting out as a Jr. Researcher, he proceeded to do tests on anomalies in Inanimate and even 1-2 SCP 173 tests. Due to the quality of his research, he was promoted to researcher only a year after joining the foundation, and promptly started studying the SCP's in HCZ. Having done tests on 035, 9000's, and multiple other anomalies, he was once again promoted, this time to Sr. Researcher. As a Sr, Larry was briefed about certain cl4 anomalies such as 682. Due to this, he started attempting cross tests with, such as to terminate 682, see if 049 could cure 409, and some others.
During this time, he came across an anomaly designated SCP-.̸̢̧̥̞̲͓̟͙̏͂̀͒̏͆̿̾̂̐̂̕͝͝.̶̡̨̛̗̯̟͖̝̭̹̺͖͇̑̒̓̄͛̄̑̈́̍͂́̕.̴̨͍̬͓̣̗͚̩̔̚͜.̵͉͓̪̬̙̲̠̰̗̽͋̆̑́̈́͂̈̂͘͝. This anomaly is an ██████████ and causes people to ████ █████ ██████. Unaware of it's official designation, Larry brough it up to ██-█ who, after kidnapping him, revealed to him that it existed but gave very little information otherwise and gave him a business card. This card contained the information of █████ member █████. After a few phone calls, Larry became much more educated about this anomaly, though, not everyone was pleased with the research of this anomaly. After this, Larry was promoted to Executive Researcher. While Larry was studying this anomaly alongside ▃▀▔▀ ▄▛▏▕▍▆▄▃, his Clearance Level was stripped and he was demoted back to Senior Researcher due to unsatisfactory behavior. Due to this, his research came to a hold. Eventually, Larry spoke to Site Administration about Ị̶̛̼̯̼̬ͮ͒ͧ̋;͔̦̀͝t̷̵̝̗̖̯̙͈̳̘̥̪̺̪̩̳̃ͪ̈̉ͧͧ̽ͯ̽̌̓͌̊̋̇ͮ̍̃͊̈́͘͟͟͠͠ͅ'̴̵̧̡̢̢̻͔̖̻͖͕̹̹̪̰̜͑̔͐̆̾ͪ̍̈́̈ͨͥ̄͂͂ͤ̽̍ͣͤ̚ş̴̨̛̰̼͕̺͚̝̲͈̮̣̤͎̗̽ͤͦͮ͗̆ͯ͜͡͠ A̧̢̩̰̩̱̪̥ͭ͑͞l͕̑_̵̢̡͎̣͚͕̦̣́ͤͧ̐̂̓͗̑ͣͩ̀̔͊͑̕͢͞ͅ__͇̓̀̀̐̽́ͮͨ̓w̧̨̞̟̺̙͙͖̙͈͖̗̭̻̯̥̻̝̰̳̆̒́͌͗͊̊ͪͤ̓̈́̾̀ͭͨ̌̅́̀̚͟͜͠'̷̡̛͕͖̤̮̖ͯ̽̽ͬͦͣ͑͊̓̚͝ȁ̱̼͈̳͍͈̣̓̅̓̉͌̉̕͟͢y̸̵̜̟̞̪̙̪͓̮̺̽͒̀ͭͤ̈͑͘_̫͖̙͉͉͉̇͛̐̾͋̅ṣ̡̗̗̫͉̟ͪ̀ͬ̄̃͒ͩͦ͂̌̄ͣ̍ͪ̚͠͞͞ͅ_̸̷̨̡̮̳̗̳͚̔̐ͬ̓͊ͪ̃̓ W̲͚ͩͥ̈́̿̊̆̔̀a͎͎̫̼̓͛̂͌ͮͪ̒̓̕t̴̴̛̝̹͓̖̦̭̮͇͖̻̩̺̰͙̗͉̪̀͛͛́̋ͧ̏̏ͯ̍̎́͘c̹̯̙͍̠̦ͪ͌̅̍ͣ͘͞'̷̧̢̛̛̹͕͇͉̲͙̞̗̤̯̗̱̙̗͚͓̀͌͂ͬ͐̒ͪͧ͌́͐̒̓ͫͭ̓̓ͫ̇̕̕h̴̸͚͕̒͆ͥ̋ͯ͞͞ͅ_̸͉͈̖̜͙̪ͨī̷̡̢̱̙͖͔ͤ̑̍̏̊ͬ͘n̶̡̡͔̺̣̜͎̩͙̦͇̯̹̠͈̮̜̰͓̽̀̀̈̐̓̒͒͊́ͦͬ̕̚͘͟͟͡͞'̶̸̰̼̦̜̱͓̟͖͖͇̽ͧ͑͆̉ͭ̊̉͗̈ͤ͗ͧ̔̾̆̚̚͟͝͡͞ͅͅĝ̴̡̧̡͕̖͉͙̠̃̾̑ͧ̊ͧ̀ͭ̈́ͣͩ̽ͣ͆͞
