Why are you applying for Security Captain?
I used to be a captain before taking a break from the server for a couple of months, and I always planned to come back to captain. I have always enjoyed how relaxed Gensec can be and how casual dblock is in general, which is why I decided to become a captain in the first place. I also enjoyed helping out new players to the server who often come to Gensec right after getting enough levels to swap off dclass.
What makes you suitable for Security Captain?
I have a lot of experience with what can make Gensec enjoyable and functional on the server, which are its 2 most common issues. I can have a lot of patience with people, which is particularly important when dealing with Gensec that has plenty of new players and minges. Due to my experience as a captain, I also know how Gensec runs outside the server, as I was a part of the roster team and TRT when it was getting on its feet late last year. I also know how to deal with problems such as riots, as I have been on both sides of it and know how to predict people and how to best counter them.
What are the responsibilities of the Security Captain in RP?
The job of a captain in RP is to make sure that Gensec is able to function in its job of guarding the site, escorting tests, fighting breaches, and guarding dblock. They do this by leading Gensec in their duty and leading by example, which is why they are required to be professional, as well as not creating a divide between themselves and the other members of Gensec. They are also in charge of performing tryouts for RCL and HWL licenses, which are needed for almost every department on the server
Please give some lore about your Security Captain character and what storylines they would be involved inLouis was a member of the CAF who had a very laconic career, as he was never deployed or saw any actual combat. After his discharge, he was hired by the SCP foundation who was looking for recruits due to recent containment breaches and riots wiping out most of their manpower. After being hired, Louis would go on to prove themself as they would help handle multiple riots and would be promoted to the rank of Captain within Gensec. He would be reassigned to another site for a short time before transferring back to site 65.
