I am applying for the position of site advisor because, as I have moved on from my combative positions, I have taken up more RP-focused and administrative positions, like consultant. Even though it may be a less significant role, it is still, in my opinion, a role that, depending on what you go into, shows you the administrative part of the server. I have also taken one of those, but I still help with them, which shows me what they are like, and I have wanted to dive deeper into those positions.
What makes you suitable for Site Administration?:
Leadership Abilities
I have held multiple positions of leadership, mainly O-1 Captain and UNGOC Lieutenant. These have helped me grasp what it is like to hold a position like this and the responsibilities that follow with it, especially with my long tenure as an O-1 Commissioned Officer. I know how to manage personnel in times of need and do it effectively. I have a lot of experience with people, either that be in staff or that be in regiments/departments. I know how to handle situations that may be tough and difficult and how to not get overwhelmed with them and how to stay calm.
Documentation Work
With my experience in documentation work, I have held numerous positions that require significant amount of documentation work; my position in UNGOC, being a 1862 TL (Which was the documentation and research portion of UNGOC) I had helped with a lot of with the revival of the team and was the person who kept the team alive when it was only myself and another person. As well, with my experience as being a O-1 Captain and Consultant, I had done a significant amount of documentation work; with O-1 Captain, I was the Roster and Documentation lead, where I had to mainly deal with creating and updating documents for the regiment, and with my position and Consultant, I had reworked the entirety of the roster they had and improved it with very needed QoL things, as well, I am working on helping the G-1 sub-regiment in updating their roster and handbook.
Availability
With my activity, although it isn't the most active in-game as of recent due to finals, I am very contactable outside of the game and at almost all hours will respond to DMs and can assist with any issue that may arise.
What are the responsibilities of Site Administration in RP?:
- Authorize AA usage during breaches
- Be a point of contact for GOI's
- Establish treaties with GOI
- Help the appointment of MTF commanders and department directors
- Help struggling departments when needed
- Sign D-Class permits
- Sign research documents
- Auditing departments to ensure site policy is followed
- Take role of judge during tribunals
- Authorizing termination of D-Class past airlock during times of need
