Character name(s): Michael 'Light'
Civilian name: Michael Trackson
What server are you applying for? (SCP-RP UK or SCP-RP USA): USA
Do you have a mic?:
- Yes
List all whitelisted, MTF, or CI roles that you hold or have held:
- MTF E-11 CPL / ISD Investigator
Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?:
- Yes. Three times for toxicity and once for failrp
Why are you applying for Internal Security Inspector?
- Reason why I'm applying for Inspector is because it seems majority of the time Agent/Operatives are lost. While people cannot be on constantly I try to step in and lead them in the right direction. Being part of ISD has been an amazing experience and I would overall like to extend my value in playing this role. There are numerous reasons why being an ISD Inspector is important. Making sure laws are followed properly especially when it comes to newer agents.
What makes you suitable for Internal Security Inspector?:
- What makes me suitable for Internal Security Inspector is my undoubtable reason to train. There is without a doubt means to further training when it comes to an Agent/Operative. I'm willing to go the extra step and ensure they are not just handed a test and sent on their way. Enforcing the law is above all else and when there are untrained members walking around not putting proper chargers or giving false charges it makes ISD look bad as a whole. Uplifting the 'bad' reputation people have put onto ISD would be a focus without a doubt. Being able to take the time to actually gather evidence and train people who genuinely require it. Not backing down when people I've talked to try and wiggle their way out of arrests. Upholding the Code of Ethics, FLC and the Code of Conduct.
What do you think describes an ideal Internal Security Inspector?:
- An ideal Internal Security Inspector should be able to train newer agents along with investigators on proper protocols. Ensuring those are given proper assignments to ensure the security of the site. Without hesitation understanding protocols and being able to enforce FLC, COE and the COC to the highest extent. Being there when site personnel have questions along with other ISD personnel.
How many major, roleplay-serving documents have you written? What makes a document of this nature good in terms of quality?:
- N/A | Ensuring a cover page following reason behind arrests, personnel involved, date, evidence *bodycam if available* and the charge/charges. Signature.
What are the responsibilities of the Internal Security Inspector in RP?:
- Responsibilities of the Internal Security Inspector follow with guiding newer agents along with investigators. Being able to answer questions regarding the FLC, COE and COC. Showing professionalism and ensuring the security of the site. Leadership towards lower ranking and helping anyone gain an understanding on how ISD works. Appointing assignments to Agents & Investigators so nobody is blindly running around.
Please elaborate on why you think you'd be a good leadership position holder for Internal Security:
- Why I'd be a good leadership position holder for Internal Security is because I have the understanding of what it takes to uphold professionalism and an unbiased opinion. While there have been times where I've had to step up not only on ISD but within MTF E-11. There is without a doubt my training skills and knowledge of the site including the FLC, COE and COC would be greatly appreciated within the department. Knowing I have what it takes to fulfill this position and not disappoint regardless of my lack of never previously holding such a position.
Please give some lore about your Internal Security Inspector character and what storylines they would be involved in:
- Michael grew up in a quiet home where rules were taken seriously. His father was a public city worker and his mother worked making fake teeth. From a young age, Michael learned that small mistakes, when ignored, could lead to serious consequences. He became a quiet observant child who noticed details others overlooked. As an adult Michael studied criminal justice and went into internal review work rather than field enforcement. He preferred reading reports, checking timelines, and finding where stories didn’t quite match. He was fair and calm but difficult to lie to. Early in his career Michael approved a case that later turned out to be wrong. His mistake allowed further misconduct to happen. He was not punished but he never forgot it. After that he became stricter, always checking multiple sources and never trusting a single explanation. Years later Michael was offered a position in a highly classified organization that focused on oversight and security. He accepted without hesitation. When he learned about the SCP Foundation, the anomalies shocked him, but the need for accountability did not. By the time he became an Internal Security Investigator, Michael already believed one thing strongly that powerful organizations fail when no one is willing to question them. His job was to make sure someone always did.
