- 1 for FailRP as 860-2 my first week of the server.
What makes you the best candidate for Overseer Assistant?:
- I have prior experience in multiple Clearance 4 roles ranging from junior to senior, as well as a lot of RP experience over the 4 years I've been on the server, as a player and as a former GM. I've been an OSA twice before as well, and I've noticed at the times I'm on, there is almost never an OSA around, only ECA's getting swamped. I have provided meaningful, lasting changes to the server, such as helping to create and launch the 2 Department Director system we have now.
What are the responsibilities of Overseer Assistants in RP?:
-OSA's are the more visible piece of the Council, their proxy to those who do not know of their existence. You authorize tests, enforce the Code of Conduct when necessary, fulfill O5 orders (typically interviews and department reviews but more unique ones happen every so often.). As you rank somewhat high on the chain of command, you have the ability to call a Code Black, authorize AA, KOS past airlock, and I'm assuming a few more I cannot currently remember, but it is only when necessary. As an OSA, you need to be respectful and considerate of the privileges you have, and abuse of said privileges will not just reflect poorly on you, but on the Council as well.
Why do you wish to become an Overseer Assistant?:
- To be honest, I miss the role and I'd like to give it another shot. I've done it well twice now and I'm up for performing well a third time.
Please give some lore about your Overseer Assistant character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Mori Baker has worked for the Foundation since she was in her early 20s, being adopted in her teens by a member of DEA dispatched to her home to handle an amnestication operation surrounding the disappearance of her father. She was trained to be an expert in diplomacy and politics, to avoid a fight as best she could. Mori would end up working in External Affairs, taking after her adoptive mother in less combative operations, negotiating for hostages and anomalies back, dealing with information leaks, and handling GOIs. Her efforts and experience began to catch the eye of those she unknowingly worked for, although she had heard rumors.
After returning to Site-65 from a meeting with GOC, Mori was recuperating in the armory when gas began to leak in through the vents, knocking her unconcsious before she could grab a gas mask. She woke up, cuffed to a table, masked guards on either side of her and one posted by the door, where a knock rung clear. The guard opened the door, a man wreathed in flourescent light standing in the doorway.
"Ms. Baker, are you prepared to take the next step in your career?"
