Hello Director, I'm happy to be able to get back to you about that application, you'll be pleased to find the filled out form attached below like you wanted, and I do apologize for the delay. Like I said before, I think there's others more qualified than me but if you truly believe in me I'm more than happy to be able to further our research in ways no one has seen before. Anyways, I hope you enjoy the application, as it took me longer than I would have liked.

-Further and Farther, Nav

{|]{ Why are you applying for Executive Researcher? }[|}
Other than being encouraged by two others to apply, I am doing so because I genuinely love the Research Department. Ever since I joined, I have known that I wanted to work my way up and make a difference in this field, as well as help my fellow researchers in their pursuit of knowledge.

Being a lifelong SCP fan, my favorite part of the playing has always been conducting tests, documenting results, and assisting others with their research. With that in mind, my main motivation for applying is to contribute to the department’s growth and improve the quality of research and documentation conducted at the site.

{|]{ What makes you suitable for Executive Researcher? }[|}
Having been on the site for close to two years now, I have been able to observe many of the nuances of site-65, mainly the progression of the research department over that time. Spending most of my time as a researcher, I have constantly thought about what it would be like to make a meaningful change in the department—not just in terms of general testing and documentation, but also in expanding knowledge of the site's entities and ensuring proper research methods.

I have seen firsthand how research can suffer without proper guidance, and there is nothing I would be happier to do than help others improve their approach to research. While I personally don’t see myself as executive material, I have been encouraged by others to apply, and I want to be the one to push others toward higher goals and standards as well, so I'm giving it my best shot. I do believe I can make a proper change or at least try my best at it both with my intense interest in RSD as well as the pure amount of time I spend both researching and just being on site helping others.

{|]{ How many excellent-graded documents have you written? What makes a document excellent? }[|}
Just one so far but I plan to write many more ( I didn't get into documenting until recently )
A document is excellent when it not only presents a well thought out test and structured format but also leaves little to no room for improvement. Good grammar, punctuation, and professionalism are essential for a good document, but what I think truly makes a document excellent is a unique idea and a genuine purpose/interest for conducting the test.
{|]{ What are the responsibilities of the Executive Researcher in RP? }[|}
On top of grading and authorizing documents, Executive Researchers serve as the primary guides for lower-clearance researchers, ensuring that the standards of the research department are upheld. From teaching proper experimentation methods to assisting with documentation, Executives are the first point of contact for Senior Researchers and below. As such, they must embrace this responsibility and provide proper guidance to both new and experienced researchers.

I believe the ultimate responsibility of an Executive Researcher is to advance research while supporting others in ways that were previously unattainable to them.

{|]{ Please give some lore about your Executive Researcher character and what storylines they would be involved in }[|}
Nathan Primrose—though he prefers to be called Nav—had a fairly normal upbringing, having interests in chemical and biological science. Graduating college with a bachelor's in Chemical Engineering, he figured there was no better way to celebrate than with his family. The outing was nice for him, getting a break from all the stress from school and pressure of getting work done, until him and his brother ventured off together to see the sites. His older brother, Nova, vanished into the dense woods during what should have been an ordinary hike. When search efforts turned up nothing, authorities claimed it was a tragic case of getting lost in the wilderness. But Nav knew better. He had seen something—something impossible. A fleeting glimpse of his brother stepping through a strange doorway, followed by a guttural growl and the sound of tearing flesh. Then silence.

The weeks that followed were a haze of grief, confusion, and an unshakable sense of guilt. His family was quickly relocated, their old neighborhood told a sanitized story of a wild animal attack. Nav, however, couldn't forget. The details of that day gnawed at him, the memory of the doorway lingering at the edges of his mind like a half-remembered dream.

One night, he awoke in a featureless room with no doors or windows. A single voice cut through the darkness: "Do you believe in the anomalous?"

That was his first encounter with the Foundation. From that moment on, his life belonged to it. He kept his head down, learned quickly, and ascended the ranks, becoming a diligent researcher. But something always felt… off.

Then he saw it. "SCP-860". The unassuming blue key. Recognition struck him like a lightning bolt, though he couldn’t place where or when he had seen it before. It became an obsession. He threw himself into studying its effects, mapping the forest dimension it led to, and documenting the entities within. His breakthroughs in chemical and biological research related to the anomaly earned him respect, but he was never truly satisfied.

Every time a D-Class met a grisly end at the claws of SCP-860-2, something twisted in his gut. The wounds—the sheer brutality—felt eerily familiar. And then, one day, as he stood over the remains of another test subject, it finally clicked. The scene before him was a perfect mirror of the last time he saw his brother.

His entire life at the Foundation had led him here. But now, Nav had a new question to answer—was this pursuit of knowledge his way of uncovering the truth? Or was it simply a way to atone for the loss he was never meant to understand?
