Discord Name: Double King#0894
For how long have you played on CG SCP: Around late May 2022.
Age: 19
In what country are you located: United States of America
Time Zone: Eastern Daylight Time (EDT)
Character Name(s): Biohazard Specialist Nicholas Leg
Civilian name: Nicholas Leg Jr.
What server are you applying for: SCP-USA
Do you have a mic: Yes
List all whitelisted, MTF, or CI roles that you hold or have held: None.
Have you received any kicks/bans/warnings? and why?: I have currently only received one warning. I received a warning for FailRP on 7/9/2022. At around 7 am in the morning I lead a 10-man citizen revolution into the facility which lead to the D-Block airlock being taken over and let out all Class-D personnel. I have been warned about this and won't be doing this again.
Why are you applying for Executive Researcher?: The main reason I am applying for Executive Researcher is because I want to help other researchers with becoming better as a whole. A lot of the junior researchers and even some regular researchers I see usually have no aim when it comes to testing. They are simply there to throw a Class-D into a room, watch them either die or live and then put them back into D-Block. I believe that I can help these people out with becoming more "proper" researchers to prevent incidents and issues in their future tests. The other reason I want to become an Executive Researcher is to approve of more dangerous tests. A lot of tests I see and even do myself, sometimes require approval of some sort and I want to be involved with these researchers's tests and see what other people are trying to research.
What makes you suitable for Executive Researcher?: Originally when I started playing researcher I didn't think much of it and thought I would get bored of the job quickly. However, as time went on I got more into the role and started getting more creative with tests, and even started to try and learn every rule there is to being a researcher. Now that I have reached Biohazard Special I have had countless moments where Juniors and Researchers have come to me for help whether it be for rules or help with their tests. I believe with the experiences I've had that I should be able to maintain the role of Executive Researcher.
How many excellent-graded documents have you written?: I have written a total of three excellent documents.
What makes a document excellent?: To me, there are four things that make a document excellent.
Please give some lore about your Executive Researcher character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Nicholas Leg was just your average joe, or in this case, your average Nicholas Leg. Born in 1985 in the town of Springfield, Missouri. Nicholas came from a family on a farm passed down from his grandparents to his parents. Nothing out of the ordinary ever happened and everybody lived a content and peaceful life, that is, until both his parents caught some mysterious virus. Days, Weeks, and Months had passed with no signs of the virus going away and any doctors who checked on them couldn't figure out what was wrong with them. Eventually, they succumbed to the virus and died. At this moment he swore to discover what caused their deaths and to prevent anyone from experiencing this loss as he did.
Fast forward to when he was 29, Nicholas had graduated college with a degree in biology and had landed himself a job as a virologist. He still held onto his promise of curing the virus that killed his parents but hasn't seen a sign of it since. However, that midnight in the middle of spring changed everything. He received a call from one of his coworkers crying for help until silence fell over the phone. Nicholas drove to the lab as fast as possible and called 911 for help. Upon arriving at the lab he saw something that can only be described as something out of a fantasy, the overnight workers in the lab had completely turned into quartz statues and even parts of the lab had begun to show the same crystalization.
What happened afterward he could not remember but he woke up on a bed in some medical room with patient robes on and armed guards looking down at him. After a moment of panic, a man in a lab coat spoke with him. He spoke of what was called "SCP-409" which he said had caused a terrible incident in Nicholas's workplace. The conversation continued on for half an hour before Nicholas was able to fully understand what had happened. Suddenly the scientist gave him an option, to return back to he came from and live a normal life with no memory of what had happened or to stay here and study what caused the deaths of his coworkers and even more. After a few minutes of thought, Nicholas seized the opportunity to study this "virus" with the thought of his parents in the back of his mind.

How many excellent-graded documents have you written?: I have written a total of three excellent documents.
- Unofficial Manual to SCP-914 (21 pages)
- Dispensed Items of SCP-294 (9 pages)
- Crosstest of SCP-714 & SCP-500 (9 pages)
What makes a document excellent?: To me, there are four things that make a document excellent.
- Effort of the test. No matter how boring or exciting a test is, having actual effort put into a person's document can show how much they genuinely care about research rather than just shoving Class-D into SCP-049's chamber to watch SCP-049-2 spawn.
- Results. Even if a test ends in failure or doesn't meet your hypothesis, there is no need to be afraid of showing that failure. One researcher's failure can save ten researchers from the same heartache.
- Details. Every single detail of a test is crucial to an excellent document.
- Neatness. What's the point of doing a test if no one can read it?
