What O5 role are you applying for, and why (give the specific O5 number):
I am applying for the position of O5-4. I have been a Director of Research for over a month now and lead the Chemical Research Board for three months prior to it as well. This gives me good amount of experience when it comes to leading a (sub-)department, managing its personnel and discussing matters with other departments. These experiences are something that I would like to use in a position that could influence more than just one department. An example would be for more and much needed improvements when it comes to roleplay on-site through projects, document work or events.
What makes you the best candidate for the O5 Council?:
Since I’ve been an Executive, I have been contributing to a good number of changes and addition inside of Research. As a Director of Research, I have not only gained much experience on how to manage a department but interact with other departments as well in regards of diplomacy. This allowed me to push for new sampling guidelines together with Site Administration and E-11 which simplified much off the old sampling policies and allowed Research to have a direct say in that matter again. Other policy changes include the cross-testing between SCP-914 and other SCPs that have been reworked together with the other DoR Desmond and FCOM. In addition, the specialized Senior Executive Working Group was expanded under my supervision to include other Executives and aid the assigned Senior Executive in their respective tasks. Together with this, I have led the Chemical Research Board before being promoted to Director of Research in which the sub-department was rebuilt from scratch. This included document work, creating policies and holding meetings with different departments and GoIs which only continued onwards as a DoR.
I am laid back most of the time and trying to help others whenever and however I can. When it comes to solving problems, I always try to reach for a good solution while including everyone involved. This is something that I do in a calm and understanding way with a realistic view on the matter itself. I would consider myself to be a fair, unbiased and calm leader that is always open to talking to others, discussing problems and handing out punishment only when necessary.

What are the responsibilities of the O5 Council in RP?:
Members of the O5 Council are the primary administrative decision makers inside of the Foundation. The O5 Council upholds the Code of Conduct and makes sure that it is being abided by on the site. Any violations of the Code of Conduct are mainly handled by the O5 Council with tribunals and their punishment being enforced by them. They oversee Site Administration as well as Research and issue projects to either department. Authorizing Code Blacks together with detonating the warhead or calling in ERT are also responsibilities which can be handled by the O5. Tasks of departments like authorizing GoIs on-site or AA falls under their jurisdiction in the absence of personnel below them in the chain of command. The O5 Council executes their orders through MTF Alpha-1 and OSAs as the Council itself works in the shadows and only appears to CL4 personnel when necessary.
What are the responsibilities of the O5 Council out of RP (e.g. what applications do they handle?):
The O5 Council makes decisions on a variety of applications for the positions of Overseer Assistants, Director of Research, Site Director and chooses the A-1 Commander. As a CL5 member, they are the primary leads of RP creation on-site and organize with others to create roleplay and guide it towards a specific direction together with GMs and other CL5 members. The O5 Council is also responsible for maintaining the Code of Conduct and issuing projects to other departments.

RAISA Officer:
“So, how are things doing?”
Ryan:
“Well, some issues here and there you know but good in general.”
RAISA Officer:
"Do you know why we requested you here? “
Ryan:
“Is it about the incident?”
RAISA Officer:
"We need you to fill out some gaps for us. During and after it. Are you able to do that?”
Ryan:
“Ehm… Sure. What do you want to know?”
[Excerpt from Audio Logs – #02/15]
Ryan:
“Get inside here! Now!”
Researcher:
”Shit… What the hell is happening?”
Ryan:
“You remember the test I was telling you about? It all went haywire!”
Researcher:
“What? How?”
Ryan:
“I don’t know. They said that the door malfunctioned and that they couldn’t stop it fast enough.”
Researcher:
“What the hell are we supposed to do now, huh? Wait it out and hope that someone rescues us while we are sitting ducks here?”
Ryan:
“I’ve got something. Trust me. It’ll work.”
[Excerpt from Interview – #14/51]
RAISA Officer:
“So you used the knowledge you gained from your previous incident, correct?”
Ryan:
“Correct.”
RAISA Officer:
“How did you manage to not only acquire a sample with the minimum required amount but also inject it into some one of the anomalies?”
Ryan:
“Well… It involved some… Non-standard procedures if you would call it that way.”
RAISA Officer:
“Please proceed.”
[Excerpt from Audio Logs – #06/27]
Ryan:
“Did you get it?”
D-0587:
“I think so. Take a look.”
Ryan:
“Yes, that’s it. Great job. Can you do one more thing for us, please?”
D-0587:
“Do I even have a choice?”
Ryan:
“You must make sure that you infect them with this. Can you do that?”
D-0587:
“Sure. So just throw it at them and run?”
Ryan:
“It has to be injected...”
D-0587:
“Are you joking? I’m not gonna sacrifice myself for you.”
Ryan:
“Look, I can distract one of them for you while you inject it, okay?”
D-0587:
“Are you sure that this will work?”
Ryan:
“Fairly certain. And besides, we have no other choice left.”
[Excerpt from Interview – #19/64]
RAISA Officer:
“Just to clarify: You worked together with a D-Class, known for inciting violence, am I correct?”
Ryan:
“Is it really relevant what-”
RAISA Officer:
“Answer the question.”
[short period of silence]
Ryan:
“Yes.”
RAISA Officer:
“Why?”
Ryan:
“They know ways around the facility which you could not even think of. And they know how to defend themselves.”
RAISA Officer:
“You are lucky he didn’t not make any attempts of escaping, otherwise you would be looking at treason right here.”
Ryan:
“He didn’t. The site probably got saved because of his actions. That’s all that matters to me.”
RAISA Officer:
“I believe we are done here. Thanks for answering our questions.”

“[…] with the containment doors experiencing a failure in their systems which resulted in a mass-contamination of the site in a time span of roughly one (1) hour. Due to its anomalous properties, proper containment was deemed non-viable and the site was quickly evacuated with some personnel awaiting escort. The infection was ultimately contained through the release of another chemical by a known D-Class in a manner that resembled a previous incident of a site-wide contamination of SCP-008. Upon questioning, the D-Class admitted to being aided by the current Director of Research ████ S. through guidance and cover. Due to the nature of the circumstances and the results of their actions, no punishments will be taken with the incident being internally covered up. […]”

Researcher ████ S. Another result of the experiment was the contamination of all SCP-008-2 instances with ███████ which resulted in successful termination of all known instances and traces of SCP-008 after █ hours which rendered all decontamination efforts obsolete. Further research to refine and use this discovery is waiting for approval. The Associate Researcher has been declared M.I.A. while the leading Researcher has been found alive and well. Investigations regarding the Associate Researcher’s possible affiliations with another Group of Interest are on-going with evidence suggesting strong links to the Chaos Insurgency. […]”
