Overseer Seat 4, O5-4
To go into the position of an Overseer Council Member, from a Director of Research personnel, will grant me the power to uphold a standard of expectations around the site that should be expected of all personnel. This role as a Council Member will also provide me the responsibility and capability to encourage/support server health and overall the roleplay aspect, that we are so lacking, so that we can have both coins of Combat & Roleplay; allowing more of a diverse section of players to thrive, due to the fact we're limited by focusing on one aspect, and not both. To enhance both the server and the community with benefits to both playstyles.
I choose this as an option to go to and not Site Administration due to the fact it grants a higher priority of control that I can use to guide departments in a better direction, as Overseer positions handle things in the very background; tweaking where necessary, which I find to be needed every now and again.
It would be a jump from my usual role of being a public figure on-site, but I don't see how that will be any issue for me, and believe that this role will allow me to follow in the goal that I have so set for myself of boosting the roleplay, excitement and uniqueness around the site; for no day to be the same, for no roleplay to be copy and paste, for everybody's experiences to be different and fun.

I believe that due to my workings of being an active member of the Directorate in Research (being specifically appointed by the O5 council), this starts with a good showcase of my abilities and how I can/have utilized them within the department. I have seen good (and bad) roleplay - furthermore I am a GM -, allowing me to understand the workings of this RP and how I can apply that skill to open the possibilities that people love this server for. Due to the fact of me being a Director, it also allows the current Overseers and everyone else to know how I act and will act in the future if I get the position. I try to be active, whether it be mostly of availability to contact.
I have experience as a Sr. Cl4 personnel member, which lets me be both a reasonable person but also a harsh one. Usually the way I handle situations is by considering all sides of the story; which some may see as a waste of time, but that to me just screams that you do not fully care and wish to get this done with as little time as possible. I don't allow for any form of harassment or bullying and will be strict on anything like that, I want everybody to have fun from this server.
Being apart of RSD Cl4, I've had to collaborate with the Council quite a lot due to requests/orders from them, in the course of me being a Cl4 in RSD I've had to pick up both the CoC and CoE, as recently we've had parts of them moved over to our side of things.
A way that I've upheld the Code of Conduct is that I've worked closely with O5 to rewrite certain policies for readability, understandability and to set the foundation for future usage. Such as the new SCP-914 policies that I & Stekken are working on, where we're having to liaison with FCOM to figure out how they wish for it to be handled, and what we can just completely bring under RSDs wing. Another thing that I've done is create the baseline of the Specialized Senior Executive Working Groups, this was during a time where the other DoR was very inactive and I had to work basically by myself, so when the idea of this came about I integrated it instantly as it gave a sense of independence and sustainability to the Executive team when the Directors of Research weren't available.
I believe my commitment and previous roles give you strong reasoning as to why I should receive the promotion to be apart of the Overseer Council.
