Why are you applying for Site Advisor?
I am applying for Site Administration to further my experiences and progression within the foundation. I have always viewed Site Admin as my end goal, the people who run the site. I have told myself that before I am completely done with the server, that I will become a part of Site Admin for over 1 and a half years. I have always looked up to Site Admin and respected the members with all the RP and different scenarios they start every day, and I hope to join them soon. |
What makes you suitable for Site Administration?
I am suitable for Site Advisor for 3 reasons:
Reason 1: I am suitable for Site Administration, as I have created a lot of good RP within Nu-7 and around the Site with my time as an ISD Inspector and Ethics Committee Assistant. Which have similar duties to Site Admin. Creating RP whenever possible, and also reviewing departments every month. I was also an ISD Inspector twice, which shows my dedication to the role, as I was also promoted to Senior Ambassador (Before the ISD update). Which meant I was extremely dedicated to the role. I also have experience as an Ethics Committee Assistant. |
Reason 2: My second reason as to why I am suitable for Site Administration is that I am mature. And especially, I will be there when shit hits the fan. I have also proven that I am , as I have achieved many Clearance level 4 positions in my past. I currently do not hold any as I am trying to focus on Nu-7 and make it the best regiment that I can. In conclusion. I am suitable for Site Administration, as I have held many positions that align with the role, I have created many documents and a subregiment within Nu-7, and majority of people I have met have had great experiences with me. |
Reason 3: My third and final reason is that in Nu-7, I was tasked with creating the Subdivision, "Drill Sergeants." Which you may have heard of. I had to create all the documents, create the trial system, create all the tests, and the rank system. I believe my experiences in Nu-7 majorly align with Site Administration's duties. I also have the Nu-7 Hammer Down medal, which shows that I have dedicated a lot of time and effort to Nu-7, as this is not given out often. |
Responsibilities of Site Administration in RP:
⫸ Creating spontaneous roleplay scenarios at any time around Site. | ⫸ Hosting tribunals when needed (If it does not apply to the high court of Internal Security) | ⫸ Approving work permits for D-Class when needed. | ⫸ Discuss external diplomacy (CI / UNGOC) |
⫸ Write monthly department reviews | ⫸ Deciding on Departmental Directors for Medical, Research, and Security MTF E-11 and Nu-7 Commanders | ⫸ Authorize or lead D-Block sweeps | ⫸ Attending, and bringing up points in the Senior Cl4 Meeting biweekly. |
⫸ Being a generally approachable figure and a good person to be around. Be an approachable, mature figure | ⫸ Set the tone both in and out of RP, while on the job and while off the job. | ⫸ Authorizing AA for combatives during breaches. Also authorizing KOS past airlock | ⫸ Auditing departments appointed to you to help them in their line of work and also making sure they are following site policies |
Character Lore:
Lap 150 out of 150The smell of burnt rubber hit before the smoke hit. My spotter is yelling at me.
“Outside! Still outside! 3 wide—no wait!—”
My crew chief asks.
“Talk to me when you can buddy.”
All too late, turn 4, final corner, final lap of the race. All I can smell is smoke from my car. Before I know it, my car is engulphed in flames. The one car I spent years saving for, the championship I was chasing all gone… But for now, I need to focus on getting out of here, the car is upside down. I look around, there is a small hole. I try to pry the door open, however it collapses. I sit back down in my seat, almost in peace with myself, however. I see a light coming from the door.
“The safety crew is here”
They cut my door open, and pull me out of the car. Somehow, by a miracle, I did not have any serious injuries. My first question I ask them is…
“Who won?”
“They red flagged the race after the crash, no one won.”
They take me to the medical center where they check me out. No serious injuries. I return to the track. I watch my wrecked car get towed away. A man approaches me.
“I saw your performance in that race before that crash. Did you know that a lapped car wrecked you?”
I didn’t even realise that the car that wrecked me wasn't even racing for position.
“How would you like a ride in the ARCA Menards series?”
“The next step to the NASCAR Cup Series?”
“Yes. 5 race contract to show how you can race.”
I accepted immediately, how could I turn down the offer. I ask—
“And the money?”
“You don’t need to worry about that, we will cover it.”
“When do I start?”
“This weekend, Kansas”
3 days later…
I arrive at the track, the gate attendant asks me for my ID, I hand it over, he checks it over and lets me in. I walk over to my garage and my pit stall, my crew chief and the man I talk to is waiting for me. My crew chief tells me.
“Qualifying is in 10 minutes, get out there.”
I get strapped into the car, they give me my helmet and cooling tube. I have 2 laps to get the job done. I start my first lap, round the final corner. My crew chief tells me.
“31.045, P24”
However I still have 1 more lap, as I round the final corner onto the front stretch, I pass the line and…
“30.890, Pole position.”
I pull back into the pits and anxiously wait for the session to end. I watch the big screen. Nobody breaks my time. I'm in the front spot in my first race. I get back in my car and line up with all the other cars. The green flag waves and I'm off. I get overtaken by the second place car, my crew chief tells me.
“One car at a time, one pit stop at a time, one lug nut at a time, one lap at a time. Be patient, we still have 89 more laps left. Long way to the end, be patient and let's be there when it counts. The laps tick by, 3, 4, 5. My spotter is yelling in my ear the whole time.
“Outside, Still outside. Inside. 3 wide, keep it rolling, keep it rolling.”
Then a huge crash breaks out behind me, at least 20 cars are involved. First caution is out. I asked my crew chief. What lap are we on? Lap 85. 16 left. After the restart I pull away from everyone except for 1 car.
“Car inside, not clear yet. Clear.”
He overtakes me and sails off. The chequered flag comes out. My crew chief tells me.
“P2, Congrats!”
Not the finish I would like but for my first race, I guess its fine. The next race at Dover goes less well however, On lap 123, a huge wreck breaks out, at least 10 cars are involved in the crash. My car gets destroyed in that race
“28th place”
The next few races go pretty well, mostly top 5s and a few top 10s. I am now out of contract, however, once I get home, I get on my computer and check my emails, there is a new email in my inbox...
