Character Lore: Honorably serving for the United States armed forces straight out of high school, joining directly into the Army is how they began their career. Originally beginning as a Military Police officer, they quickly established themselves as a career member of the military, distinguishing themselves by their ability and willingness to go above and beyond the standard call of duty, known as a bit of a detective, always looking for answers to the things no one else understands.
During what they believed to be a routine investigation of some soldiers who happened to go missing, they themselves found themself in a strange place they have never been before. There was nothing around but a single light in the sky, though it wasn’t the same as the sun. This event didn’t last very long for them as they soon got spit back out near their base. When stumbling back inside clearly a bit weaker from the anomalous journey, they were questioned by command and accused of going awol for several weeks.
After several hours of investigation, many of the lower ranking officers were sent out and the incident was recorded and broadcasted over anonymous channels to the SCP foundation who did their own investigation and interrogated them. Once it was determined it was an anomalous event, they were offed two choices based on their stellar military history. Join the SCP foundation as a private in E-11 or forget all of this happened with the assistance of some drugs they had. The choice was easy for them.
