What makes you the best candidate for Ethics Committee Assistant?:
I believe I would be a strong candidate for this position due to my extensive time and experience as a Jr cl4, for around three years during my time on both sites I have been Security captain most of the time. This involves the necessary levels of leadership and documentation as would be expected in this position. It has taught me how to handle responsibility and maintain control. Additionally it has led to me being emergency manager countless times which assists with all points above.
I would like to say I am an efficient communicator in and out of character and work to solve disputes quickly. I understand the importance of remaining unbiased and professional, especially in a role such as ECA.
As much as I enjoy my time within GSD I find myself leaning towards becoming more non combative (Even though everyone knows I am awesome at combat) I spend a lot of time working on department relations, resolving disputes and helping people out around the site. Ultimately in my opinion it is time for me to do SOMETHING other than GSD captain.
TLDR: Overall my prior leadership experience and understanding of server rules and expectations makes me a good candidate for this position.
What are the responsibilities of Ethics Committee Assistants in RP?:
While being an incredibly diverse role primarily ECAs assist the Ethics committee members and carry out their tasks/orders. They act as a liaison between other departments on site and the ethics committee. They may be assigned to specific departments to write reports and keep the committee informed on the goings on of the site and to monitor for misconduct and to enforce the code of ethics.
They can also authorize documentation and research in the absence of ethics members. Ensuring across the site the code of ethics is followed and reporting when it is not is another important role. Conducting or aiding in tribunals/acting as an arbitrator upon request. On top of that they may be needed to be emergency managers.
