Why are you applying for Executive Researcher?

What an amazing question to start off with. I know the people in the back might ask why someone such as myself would put in for a position with such little time with the foundation but I am a firm believer that time does not define the man but the man defines the time. In my time here so far in the research department, I have been able to do so much from testing simple hypothesis to preforming chains of experiments to get to the intended end goal. I feel that those experiments and tests have shaped me into the man I am today, the researcher I've been able to come to be. I have felt a strong desire to do more for my department that has been able to give so much to me. I am willing and ready to bring my sense of leadership into a department that I know would appreciate all of the hands it could get. In my time in the department, it has shown to be a welcoming and very close-knit department that I have come to greatly enjoy. I do hope you see the good I can bring into the department as I deep down want to be able to help as much as possible which is what stems my interest in applying for this position.

What makes you suitable for Executive Researcher?
Another good one. When you look at an executive researcher, what stands above all isn't numbers, isn't what's down on paper, but rather their character and leadership. The common phrase monkey see, monkey do is a real life lesson that all leaders must know. As a leader, the people who follow you and look up to you will take what you do as permissible so it is important that you as a leader remain professional and continue to be a shining star amongst a universe of chaos and lead your people to success. I have long held these traits as I am someone who has the desire to be that shining star and be that one to help those who need it and I think that can make almost anyone a great leader.

How many excellent-graded documents have you written? What makes a document excellent?
Now this question here might be the killer for me but nonetheless I remain confident hahaha. I'll be honest, I don't have many graded documents as I more or less wasn't fully aware of the SCiPNet system in my early days. You know how technology can be sometimes, so not all of my research papers made it to the grading process, but I can assure you and your teams that I have written a many documents and have done some very unique and thought-provoking experiments. To name a few but not limited to: SCP-### and it's effects on blindfolds and SCRAMBLER systems, SCP-1025 Readings Through Obstructions, and The Basic Knowledge of SCP-035, which turned out to discover SCP-035 tested on a remedial level, who would've guessed. Now a document in it's core is the foundation for the foundation, *chuckles*, but we were created not only to secure these anomalies, but also understand how they work and how to protect the world from them. These documents make up the very knowledge that this foundation has on these objects and are critical to the pursuit of worldly protection and I would say that almost every document that contributes to that knowledge are excellent in it's merit and heart, at the end of the day the documents that clearly and descriptively contribute to that goal are excellent. I fully believe it doesn't matter about formatting, whether it looks nice and fancy like it was designed by some corporate design team, but rather that the content of the document contribute a large amount of newly found knowledge to the foundation in it's everlasting goal to protect the public from these objects. That is what truly makes a document excellent at heart.

What are the responsibilities of the Executive Researcher (in RP)?
The executive researcher carries a lot of roles and responsibilities within the research department. One of their main jobs is ensuring that all researchers are not only following the rules but are also to make sure that the researchers are happy and doing well. Being a researcher takes a toll and requires a lot of brainpower to preform their jobs and it's the goal of the executive researcher to be their for his fellow researchers. They should help them, teach them, and guide them through their journey's here are the foundation. I feel that many people overlook that and don't remember that our researchers are human which means they make mistakes, need help, and don't know everything. It is the most important job for an executive to be there for them and act as a loving parent to their researchers. Additionally executive researchers need to help in making sure that the logistical side of the department run smoothly. For example, approving & grading documents, ensuring that the current policy is up to date and assist with policy changes, assist with test authorizations and approvals as needed, among other things. Executive researchers are the glue between the popsicle bridge, the thing that keeps it together alongside the directors of the department. Without that glue, the research department would collapse.

Please give some lore about your Executive Researcher character and what storylines they would be involved in?

Henry DuPont was a single child born in a medium-class family in France and is a distant decedent of the former French emperor, Napoleon Bonaparte. Throughout his childhood, he suffered hardship but persevered to graduate high school through a transfer program in the United States of America. After returning home to France, he decided to adopt his distant relatives last name of Bonaparte. Once able, Henry entered into a university, pursuing a degree in Biomedical engineering. After gaining his bachelors degree, he wanted me and went onto pursue his doctorate degree in Biomedical engineering in Philadelphia. After graduating, he went onto join a research team studying under the Center for Disease Control researching disease detection and prevention for nine years before leaving to become a Biomedical engineering and ethics professor, something that he became very proficient in. While teaching as a professor, he became popular in the science community for discovering a breakthrough cancer treatment for most cancers that almost doubles the rate of survival in patients which paved the way for him to receive a Nobel prize in medicine. His study's and breakthroughs made him a prime candidate to join the foundation. What really pushed him through was his study he made for fun titled "What if we had a zombie outbreak (and how to cure it)" which outlined in detail how pathogens that control biological material could be defeated which earned him a ticket in. When he was approached by the foundation, he said, "Anyone with true dedication to humanity's welfare should be considered for this position, but not me simply because of some recognition I've received.", but reluctantly gave up his life to enter a life of secrecy in the foundation. Upon joining, a specific problem arose as the circumstances around his entry into the foundation became someone public as a result of some short comings by the external affairs department which could potentially lead to some dangerous footholds against the foundation. Some storylines that Henry could be involved in is his past popularity becoming a problem for the foundation, his knowledge in contagious diseases could make him an asset for outside organizations against the foundation, and maybe even pose some moral questions for the doctor.
