Why are you applying for Site Advisor?
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed serving as the Director of ISD for over 6 months, and leading my department through countless investigations, arrests, and trials. In my time as Director, and in my entire career in ISD, I have always enjoyed my interactions with the SA team. Getting to interact with and work with the SA team is always a highlight to me, and I feel that it would be a great honor to be able to join them and help use the leadership skills I’ve developed within ISD across the whole site. I feel like SA is a natural fit for people who enjoy interacting with other department’s leadership within Site 65, and I believe that it would be almost a natural extension of what I’m already doing as the department leader of ISD because of how much I already interact with them.

What makes you suitable for Site Administration?: I have been the director of the Internal Security Department for over 6 months, and I have served as ISD leadership for over 13 months. In my time as leadership in the Internal Security department, I have worked extensively with and formed positive relationships with every department in site 65. You would be hard pressed to find leadership in any of our fine departments on-site who don’t know me by name. I have enjoyed working with every department I have had the pleasure of interacting with, and my impressions are that they enjoy working with me, as evidenced by our frequent interactions on a daily basis. I feel it would be only natural for me to step in to Site Administration, since I already have such an extensive working relationship with practically every department on-site.

What are the responsibilities of Site Administration in RP?: Site Administration, as the name implies, handles the overall administration of site 65. This includes general oversight of the various departments within the foundation; such as personnel management, authorizations, administrative departmental meetings, management of site policy (including the code of conduct), safety management, and relations with external organizations including other sites and GOI.

Please give some lore about your Site Administration character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Bazyli Kowalczyk is a 32 year old Polish immigrant, with a professional background in atomic physics & engineering from the Politechnika Warszawska (Warsaw University of Technology). Upon graduating university, Bazyli was recruited in to the SCP Foundation by [REDACTED] and was stationed initially at Foundation Facility Site 120 located in Częstochowa, Silesian Voivodeship; and provided occasional consultation support for Site 54 located in Leipzig, Saxony, Germany. Bazyli had initially been recruited in to the foundation to assist in further particle research on [REDACTED], [REDACTED], [REDACTED], [REDACTED], and [REDACTED] at Site 120, and on an as-needed basis for other European facilities, but often found himself being forced in to a technical maintenance role supporting facility reactors across the region, frequently sidetracking his research.

Following the desire of his wife to relocate closer to her family to support their end-of-life care, Bazyli relocated to Site 65 in Saskatchewan, Canada; where he resumed his research activities. After several months of work within the Site 65 Research Department, Bazyli transferred to the Site 65 ISD department, in an effort to help improve degraded site conditions that were being experienced at the time. Originally intended as a temporary effort, Bazyli found himself overwhelmingly embraced by the Internal Security department and Site Administration, who repeatedly approached him with requests to apply for promotions within the department. Bazyli was quickly promoted to Investigator soon after joining the department, which was soon followed by a unanimously-approved promotion to Inspector. In his first several months with the department, Bazyli was exposed to almost every aspect of work within Internal Security; working on investigations, prosecutions, and educational trainings and onboardings nearly every week. After 6 months of working within the department, and following a few unexpected deaths, he found himself entering the senior leadership ranks of the department as the Commissioner of Investigations, eventually transferring to the role of Attorney General of Site 65, and soon after was promoted to the Director of the Internal Security department.

Bazyli had served as the head of the department for over 6 months, and in that time he had become worked with so many departments on so many issues and topics, that other leaders had started coming to him for help with issues outside of the usual scope of the Internal Security department. With his day to day activities now being almost entirely administrative, it felt only natural to put in an application for a position within Site Administration, so that he could continue to use his skills to further help Site 65 as a whole.
