Why are you applying for Internal Affairs Ambassador?
Ever since I joined Civil Networks SCP-RP I have dedicated my time to being on Internal Affairs. Being an agent in Internal affairs is fun however I feel like I could do more on the helping other agents and training side if I was an ambassador. It's fun to me playing as agent and I cannot imagine Ambassador any different. I have shadowed multiple ambassadors to ask their opinion and generally question them on extra responsibility and RP cases they run into and that has only bolstered my will to submit this application.
What makes you suitable for Internal Affairs Ambassador?:
I would say I have a list of qualities and experience that would make me a good candidate. Some of which being I am capable of being unbias in all circumstances, my communication skills are excellent, networking skills are good, problem solving skills are where I excel, I also know when to ease off on punishment, I believe not all infractions need max punishment but are better if they are lighter and or if you can come to an understanding with the person. I genuinely think harsher punishments only give out a bad name and doesn't help the person realize something is wrong. I enjoy finding unique solutions to problems as I see fit.
How many documents have you written? What makes a document good?:
In the course of my entire time on Civil Networks, I've written a few research documents. I believe documents are all about the readers experience and the collection of knowledge or information they contain and convey. Structure, grammar and other common errors make documents look cheap or rushed. Good documents should have thought about how the information is conveyed and formatted using pictures to assist the words rather than say them for you. Formatting in the sense of an introduction, topics, conclusion is still a very good format and useful for documentation.
What are the responsibilities of the Internal Affairs Ambassador in RP?:
Some of the key responsibilities of an Ambassador are to ensure all high priority cases are handled and investigations are ran when needed, and to handle the teaching of new internal affairs personnel and correction of mistakes in their stead. Ambassadors are to also work with foundation personnel to catch any assailants breaking the Code of Ethics or Code of Conduct. They provide insight to new foundation members of all branches into the Code of Conduct knowing when and how to do so. Secondly have the basic responsibilities as a level four keycard holder, being locking bulkhead during C5 containment breaches that made it to light containment zone and generally relaying information to the internal affairs director, to ensure during C5 Checkpoint Charlie is manned by Internal Affairs and guide Internal Affairs agents into doing their duties such as getting non-combative personnel to personnel wing, ambassadors also still act as normal agents in the way that they still enforce both codes. Lastly Internal Affairs is responsible for handling and containing of info breaches within the foundation and routing/signing paperwork.
Please give some lore about your Internal Affairs Ambassador character and what storylines they would be involved in:
"Vad" lived a rather quiet life, for his early years, growing up in Drammen, Norway. For a quiet kid who never really had his appeal in school, his eyes were set on making a change in the world, even if at the time he wasn't sure how. "Vad" was quite proficient with studying various language arts, on top of excelling at scientific studies. Those weren't things of interest to "Vad", unfortunately. With a of lack of interest in pursuing his studies, "Vad" enlisted in the Norwegian: Forsvaret, "The Defence" or otherwise known as the Norwegian Armed Forces.
"Vad" served in the Norwegian Armed Forces for around sixteen years, before being "dishonorably discharged". Reality of the situation was that "Vad" didn't actually take any actions that warranted a dishonorable discharge, and instead was a result of one of his commanding officers needing to cover up their actions. "Vad" sought the truth and dug deeper in a case that was not favorable to anyone in the armed forces. His digging would lead to a case that would spread like wildfire on the news.
The Foundation, hearing about this story reached out to "Vad" and offered him a position within the Foundation as Internal Affairs. Within his first week of being an IA agent in the Foundation, "Vad" proved his worth as an IA agent though his experience from the military and the insight that came with it.
