That is one very neat backstory, I love the mystery it keeps while giving you just enough knowledge to get the gist of what has gone down in the character's past.

For you Hmods (Who I've been told don't like to read lore, grrrrrrr!) this one's worth reading. There's nothing wrong with it either from what i can see.

If you ever want to get this posted in the SCP wikidot format, LMK, I can hook you up. Might make it have a more in-universe vibe, who knows.
