Weaponised Staff Sits

@Connor | FUDGESICLE you are a good husband

Can people maybe stop weaponising staff sits on MRP please? Like there's so many sits (used to be forum complaints too) over the smallest of stupid things the other team did - it's legit a tactic to make a staff sit and get them warned for it

If you actually call a staff sit because someone on the other team made you upset in a video game please reconsider your internet connection and maybe donate it to @shaun11103 (he does not have internet where he lives)

They cut Scotland off because of people like axel
Sorry but this comment has ruined my immersion and gameplay therefor I will now be bringing you to a 5 minute staff sit complete with 3 clips from myself and 12 clips from my regiment to show the admin, in detail, your offence and I hope you will be banned.
Please ignore the fact my own teammate just said the exact same thing as you, it's different and does not count.

I appreciate your honesty and I apologise for giving you the impression I was inconvenienced but unfortunately I will be raising this matter to the twitter police and the irl police due to online harassment (I don't know how to turn my PC off) and cyberbullying police.

I would like to deeply apologise and beg you not to tell the po po because my mum will yell at me and she can be a scary woman when angry.

Yours truly, Jesus

Please only create sits if someone has directly broken a server rule :)
Yes but the issue is they call sits for accidents for the sole purpose to try and get someone warned rather than because what they done is an actual issue i dont think you quite understand what was meant by this

On a real what I mean by weaponised staff sits is people only calling sits to impede someone else on the other team BECAUSE they are on the other team.

People champion their own team when they say things such as 'Nice SCUD' but if someone on the opposite team did it they'd want blood. There's a lot of hypocrisy and it's not at all consistent.

For example: You wouldn't call a minor combat jump sit on a team-mate who is blatantly breaking the rule, but as soon as some random PVT on the other team does it, it's straight to a sit and demanded they be permanently banned

I'm not saying don't report for rule breaks, I'm saying people need to stop instantly jumping to sits for minor things, and 'toxicity' in /ooc is being VERY aggressively spanked down, despite it (most of the time) being banter. If NATO said 'nice SCUD' to me after a bad SCUD I'd laugh at it, call them tossers and move on, if that was to happen these days they'd be warns, mutes and so on.

It's becoming more damaging to the player experience than being more lenient, I appreciate the staff team correcting to a more maturity-focused stance but I believe it's been overly corrected and needs to swing ever so slightly back in the other direction.

Weaponised staff sits are a big aspect of this, people have and will continue to make sits against the other team for the smallest of infractions, which leads to more definition being needed, arguments being had, then a new rule is implemented over it, nobody wants to play somewhere where there is a rule for every aspect of roleplay or player behaviour. Falcon actually has this right in some aspect, as he often refused to clarify points and allowed it to be to the judgement of the staff member handling it.

Again - weaponised sits are usually valid rule breaks, but my point is if you won't report a member of your own team for the exact same thing then you're a hypocrite and should set fire to your router. They don't want a rule break punished, they want the other team warned.

When I type "nice scud" what I actually mean is "how tf is this guy HC he is so fucking dogshit and brain-dead lmao, stupid retard" thus I think think the staff should keep up the moderation.
