Why are you applying for Director of External Affairs?
- I am applying for Director because I believe i'm ready to step up to lead DEA more than I have already. I also am applying for DoDEA to create a few goals that i've been wanting to instate as Manager for a little while now and I believe being a director can assist me in these actions. To further illustrate on that the main aspects I plan to do should I be accepted are as follows:
1. Create OOC agreements between the rest of SOP and the other Factions to ensure that both sides are enjoying Surface Gameplay.
2. To create more enhanced version of DEAs priorities and Mission values. (To elaborate on DEAs multiple tasks as a department such as negotiations, Intel gathering, Kidnapping, Combat, Code 1 Assistance, and other duties DEA may be given by SA and how they should prioritize between them.)
3. Increase coordination within the Department. This can include more communication on what has been authorized in site, Have DEA stay in groups when having GOIs within the Site or meeting within another GOIs base.
4. Improve DEAs reputation as a Intelligence Gathering & Ambassador Department.
5. Improve confidentiality of Site 65 to other GOIs and to create cover stories and misinformation around Surface to ensure GOIs are given red herrings to avoid info leaks.
As you may have noticed these are indeed things that I've already could've done as Manager, and they are what I've been planning to do for a while now. I've realized however, being DoDEA can help me in these goals of mine Of course, I plan to add more than just these goals however, these are the main aspects that I've noticed should be my priority.
What makes you suitable for Director of External Affairs?:
-I believe I am suitable for DoDEA for the following reasons,
1. Leadership - I possess a wide variety of skills however; I believe that Leadership is my most refined skill. I know how to lead DEA to where I would like for it to go. I am aware that I am still learning and experiencing new aspects of almost everything and that I may make mistakes however, I am willing to do whatever it takes to fix what I mess up on and improve as much as I can. Additionally, I have experience in the tasks that Sr CL4s have to do daily as well as DEA have to do and believe that I am ready to take on the next stage of Leadership and move to Director.
2. Experience - I have been Manager for 4 months and Special Agent for even longer and in that time, I've learned and improved as best to my ability. I've completed my tasks to the best of my ability and have taken the time to fully take in what it takes to lead a department and be a Sr. CL4. This is why I believe im ready to take the next stage and hopefully improve and gather more experience.
3. Activity - While in the last 2-3 weeks my activity has reduced than what it has normally been I've increased my activity back to its normal hours per week. I've logged on almost daily during my time as Manager. Furthermore, I've tried to consistently be available to people who've needed to speak with me or needed assistance from me.
4. RolePlay - I believe my Roleplay ability is exceptional as people who have roleplayed with me may agree on that. While recently I admit I haven't roleplayed as nearly as much as I used to as I'm often busy with IRL things and other projects I work on in game and out of game, I still believe that I can roleplay on par with that of what you should expect of a Director Of DEA. I've also tried to encourage as much RP within DEA as possible even when I've not been around Ingame.
What are the responsibilities of the Director of External Affairs in RP?:
The responsibilities of the DoDEA is to,
-Promote Special Agents to Managers
-Ensure all CL4s are trained to fulfil their duties as Junior Leadership or Senior Leadership
-Manage CL3s & CL4s
-Provide Discipline where needed
-Encourage RP within the Department
-Create Trainings and maintain good relations with other departments
-Finally, The Director is given final say on all changes within the Department.
