How long have you been a Senior Agent for?
- Have been Senior Agent for around a month now.
Why are you applying for Special Agent?
- I've always been interested in DEA for the entire time I've played this server. The idea of having a intelligence agency that works with a military of sorts is always just a fascinating concept and really makes a fun thing to play as. With this many aspects of DEA have also intrigued me with the diplomacy, RP values, and intelligence gathering. DEA as a whole has been one of the things I've mainly played since I started playing this server so I felt like applying for Special Agent could be a really fun experience. I also decided that if I did get Special Agent, I would make an attempt to make positive changes with RP. One example of this is to RP with other departments and GOIs.
What makes you suitable for Special Agent?:
- I strongly believe I am suitable for Special Agent because I have held jobs which mainly utilize RP. Throughout my time playing I've learned valuable skills needed to be a Special Agent. This includes things such as writing documents, performing tasks required of a Junior CL4/Special Agent, And how to RP successfully. Furthermore, I have also been DEA for a good bit and have witnessed first-hand the responsibilities and tasks that must be completed by a Special Agent. Of course, I have little experience as a CL4 however, I believe that I can properly fulfil the duties of a Special Agent or at least learn how to within time.
How many documents have you written? What makes a document good?:
- I have written many documents, while not published or graded, they ranged from testing documents and testing ideas mainly. I also wrote documents that covered reports and information. While none of my documents were ever graded, I am aware of what makes a document good. A good document requires many things. First, a good document must have a good idea or purpose. Having a document which is well written does not inherently mean that it is a good document. Your document needs to have a clear and functional purpose, or it may get denied. The 2nd thing a good document needs is organization. To make a clear document it has to be organized so the reader understands what is where and where it fits in. The 3rd thing a good document needs is good writing. Having a mistake in grammar can cause things in your document to be misunderstood and can negatively impact the quality of your document. In conclusion, a good document requires organization, a purpose, and good writing/length.
What are the responsibilities of the Special Agent in RP?:
- The responsibilities of a Special Agent in RP are to auth QRF, maintain relationships with GOIs and departments within the foundation, Gather intelligence on all GOIs and possible anomalies on surface, and notify the site if a possible raid will occur. A Special Agent should encourage and take part in RP and help the Managers and DPT directors making sure DEA is running smoothly. Furthermore, A Special Agent is responsible for authing infils and MRs in the pursuit of gathering information or stolen items.
Please give some lore about your Special Agent character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Name: Andrew Morgan
Former Occupancy: Unusual Incidents Unit Operative
Age: 24
Gender: Male
Background:
Andrew 'West' Morgan was born in [REDACTED], Washington. Later within Andrew Morgans life he was assigned as a member of the U.I.U, A United States department of the FBI to investigate anomalous occurrences, and prior to discovery was undergoing a mission tasked to find information on another GOI known as "Are We Cool Yet", a group of anomalous artists who produce/obtain anomalous objects or entities, this GOI had then recently produced an anomalous panting in [REDACTED], California. This anomalous painting had caused mass effects of insanity and hallucinations upon looking at it. However, this anomalous object had also grabbed the attention of The Foundation as well. During his mission Foundation operatives had seized Andrew Morgan in order to amnesticate him and prevent U.I.U intervention with their mission. Upon interrogation of Andrew Morgan, DEA operatives had taken an interest in Andrew Morgan's ability to track down anomalous objects and GOIs and decided to give him two offers. His two offers were to 1. Be amnesticated and continue working for the U.I.U without any memory of the interrogation, or 2. Be inducted as a DEA Agent and climb his way up. Upon this offer Andrew Morgan had begun to think of the flaws with the U.I.U and it's lack of funding and had decided the best option was to be inducted into the Department of External Affairs and start as a Agent.
