scope glitch with vguns

basically if i hover over hume bubbles with any scope thats 2x and above the scope will bug out and become unusable

ive tried

- removing unnecessary addons
- updating drivers
- reinstalling all addons
- trying to change video settings
- trying to verify game files
- completely reinstalled the game and used the factory reset thing in the gmod folder
- tried various console commands

i have no idea whats causing this but its annoying becaues it makes snipers and scopes basically unusable/
and yes i have made a bug report in the discord

The only way I could think to fix this is disabling 3D scopes on your Q Menu, I'm not sure if thats possible on the server however

Ive just checked and its not an option unfortunately, I would have to say for now just avoid looking at Hume bubbles and I'll report this up as a bug to content team

Not gonna lie, this looks like a server bug rather than clientside issue.
Don't think there is anything you can do - you tried all possible clientside fixes already, the only thing left is for you to hope that your bug ticket will get fixed at some point.

Good afternoon,

Unfortunately I don't believe this is a client side fix and I have doubts that is is a server side fix either. Simular issues started to occur with SCP-Type-Green's bullet freeze ability whereby a simular material effect is placed around T-G instead of the original water effect bubble.

This has all occurred since the Garry's Mod update which we waited on for a very long time to ensure 22415 update would work properly.

There is a potential fix for this server side but I believe they would have found it already for T-Green if there was a fix


Hopes this clears anything up
