What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Compensation Buff: D-Class (100 Life Points -> (105 Life Points)
D-Class Brute (250 Life Points -> (150 Life Points) (Quality of life change)
D-Class Scout (150 Life Points -> (100 Life Points) (Quality of life change)
Remove Keys SWEP from D-Class (Quality of life change)
Remove the item dispenser from inside of D-Block, forcing D-Class to use unique strategies to bolster their riots
Increase the fire arm costs from the Scrap Dealer, forcing D-Class to get full use out of their weapons, getting more bang for their buck
Decrease SCP-457's HP to 15,000 (Quality of life change)
Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
I do not believe
Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
Valuable quality of life change for GENSEC
Increased server health, including for GENSEC
Gives GENSEC more things to do. Perchance.
Causes D-Class breaches in LCZ to be less chaotic, allowing for an overall healthier server microbiome.
Gives Research a lot more RP potential while having to deal with less riots
Gives Chaos Insurgency more meaning, instead of just having D-Class be the main fighting force.
Allows MTF to guard HCZ better
457 doesn't get hacked out as much by D-Class
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
Some may have some concerns with reducing D-Class's HP by about 50-100~ points per power class
Some may not enjoy the quality of life changes, such as D-Class mains
SCP-457 mains might not enjoy the quality of life change
The compensation buff for the base D-Class role might be a bit too much, especially considering how many D-Class there are, and how common it is to survive on low HPs.
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
Hello, it has come to my attention that D-Class have been running rampant, overpowering GENSEC / MTF / Research, and causing decreased server health. This is my proposal. I think it perfectly wraps most of the problems people have with LCZ / D-Block in a neat bow, with many quality of life changes, and a plethora of allotted suggested buffs to compensate. This would be a massive change, but, I think it could cause a positive change in direction for the server.
This also might actually technically be a buff for D-Class in the long run, considering how this change would encourage strategy and out of the box thinking from D-Class when it comes to being "rebels", and escaping the Foundation. I think all sides from this change would come out on top.
To give an example, let me give a brief but potentially engaging reader rundown on Guerilla Tactics:
Guerrilla warfare is a form of unconventional warfare in which small groups of irregular military, such as rebels, partisans, paramilitary personnel or armed civilians, including recruited children, use ambushes, sabotage, terrorism, raids, petty warfare or hit-and-run tactics in a rebellion, in a violent conflict, in a war or in a civil war to fight against regular military, police or rival insurgent forces.
Although the term "guerrilla warfare" was coined in the context of the Peninsular War in the 19th century, the tactical methods of guerrilla warfare have long been in use. In the 6th century BC, Sun Tzu proposed the use of guerrilla-style tactics in The Art of War. The 3rd century BC Roman general Quintus Fabius Maximus Verrucosus is also credited with inventing many of the tactics of guerrilla warfare through what is today called the Fabian strategy, and in China Peng Yue is also often regarded as the inventor of guerrilla warfare. Guerrilla warfare has been used by various factions throughout history and is particularly associated with revolutionary movements and popular resistance against invading or occupying armies.
Guerrilla tactics focus on avoiding head-on confrontations with enemy armies, typically due to inferior arms or forces, and instead engage in limited skirmishes with the goal of exhausting adversaries and forcing them to withdraw (see also attrition warfare). Organized guerrilla groups often depend on the support of either the local population or foreign backers who sympathize with the guerrilla group's efforts.
Image example:

If D-Class were able to utilize these "Guerrilla warfare" tactics to their "benefit," I think theoretically it could create some highly engaging, rare high moments for D-Class who successfully sneak under the radar of GENSEC / push their way through the Foundation forces.
