I was, previously, a captain of security. Because of fortunate circumstances, I've been busy IRL. I hereby come back to rejoin this holy regiment.The D-Block and its security remains to this day a pillar for the complex. Its integrity is the result of our success. I believe that the D-Class personnel are the beating heart of the site; yet it doesn’t come without its fair share of problems. I’ve always strived to keep its integrity to a maximum. Protecting the D-Block thus ensuring the fine work of our research team will mean everything. Participation in the safekeeping of our test subjects is a noble cause that shouldn’t be underappreciated.
What makes you suitable for Security Captain?:
From Cadet to Officer, I’ve always been deeply concerned with the containment of our test subjects. Learning from the best, I believe that I’ve taken enough initiative to become a fine Captain. I believe that credibility, rigor and mental dexterity are prime values applied to work as a Captain of our facility. I have the maturity and the patience to listen and teach the ones in need. I am open minded and ready to apply new strategies and intervention concepts in order to secure D-Block and its staff.What are the responsibilities of the Security Captain in RP?:
The Captain must ensure a wide range of missions.First, the Captain must give orders and scatter security throughout D-Block. This ensures that D-Block is sealed and contained. This involves setting up the radio comms, placing units in strategic areas for airlock duty, watchtower duty, escort duty and queues duty.
Secondly, the Captain must supervise. While security is placed, the Captain must maintain a liaison with all security personnel in order to report or intervene if necessary.
Third, the Captain must command and react to any event and/or threat. To do so, the Captain prepares and creates a strategy to hermetically seal D-Block from a dangerous situation by leading any type of necessary action: sweep, lookout operations, etc.
Finally, the Captain is an instructor. He must teach and preserve the combat and knowledge effectiveness of his men.
Please give some lore about your Security Captain character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Born in France, Jovenni grew up in a middle class family. Calm and composed, he is very discreet yet vigorous in his motivations to join the army. Moving houses every 3 or 4 years as his parents were in the French military, Jovenni loved to travel and meet new people. Jovenni had the privilege of learning in the United States of America before going back to France during High School. Jovenni wasn’t interested in college and instead joined the French Gendarmerie Nationale, a French military unit responsible for keeping the peace in the country. It was after 3 years of service that he took interest in joining the French secret service of the DGSI. Informed about the SCP mission, he fell passionate for the site and decided to join its GENSEC. After several years as an officer, he decides to write an application to become a Captain.
