What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Lets people use chat while gagged.
Blocks commands like /y [X] and /w [X] - so the gagged person can't yell.
Disallows usage of comms while gagged (idk if that's the thing currently, but just to make sure) - so the gagged person can't use comms.
Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
Nope.
Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
- Interrogation doesn't have to use /write [X] all the time, and when the interrogated is given TTS they can freely answer questions.
- Isn't as invasive as speaking while gagged.
- Interrogation QoL
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
- Less immerssive.
- Changing a recent addition.
- Might be abused, but as mentioned in positives - typing in chat is not as annoying/invasive as screaming (added in the edit).
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
I believe it is needed for interrogation, as using /write [X] instead of giving someone TTS via /me Gives TTS can make interrogations go for much longer and is simply inconvenient.
