Content Suggestion Remove all the map props in the UNGOC base

Content Suggestions will be reviewed by Content Team weekly, please allow time as not everything can be reviewed at once.
What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
All the map props in UNGOC base

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
https://civilnetworks.net/community/threads/remove-beds-in-ungoc-recruit-spawn.32683/#post-237098 (this suggestion is this but just more extreme.)

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
Gives so much more freedom in customizing GOC base for COs and SL, currently it is the most cramped and awkward space to move through, and nothing can be done about it outside of dev intervention.
Can allow the laboratory room to be an actual laboratory with all the new space, and much more for other rooms.

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
Miniscule amount of devtime
Will take a lot of time to implement due to the timescale between map changes.
Can be replaced by... an actual base expansion.

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
Because currently the UNGOC base is a cramped space, and this suggestion essentially helps rectify the problem, but not solve it (see negatives).

What about all the additional permaprops you'd be placing in place of the map props?
Wont this just cause more lag?
Hi, no this won't affect server performance as much as you may imagine, perma prop regions unload perma props when all players leave the region which means they dont affect server performance anymore.
For GOC base all perma props regions would be different for each room in the base, so if no one is in the research lab for example, the room would be completely empty and thus not affect server performance at all.
(At least this is what I've gathered in my time playing the server and after consulting NL)

Makes sense, sure.

The map props can be removed and then GOC can work with GMs on how they want their base to be set up before getting the props permapropped by a Sr. Admin. Simple affair.

It might not cause lag, but if there's too many entities loaded at once, the server will straight up crash. I think there's been some issues recently with them hitting the entity limit due to an unknown bug, so it might not be the greatest idea at the moment.

This was due to a very specific issue if I recall and was fixed. I also don’t think the props used in this case would ever exceed the props used for, lets say O5 offices if they were all occupied and built.

The GOC base is cramped and quite limited when it comes to decoration. CI base is also cramped, but not to the degree the GOC base is. CI have essentially 5 rooms that can be repurposed for their own special ways, this being (on UK) the IRU war room, CO Room (which is massive), ARUC lab, The room across ARUC lab, and the small generator room.

GOC base has 4, that being the bunks/spawn, the outer training area (outside AA), the COLs office (tiny), and the 2nd interrogation room (which is used for CO fridge and GMObj storage, and is tiny).
GOC has no space for a proper tryout room compared to any other regiment/faction on the server, and can barely hold a lab/medbay in one room.
Removing the map props in favor for permaprop customization would allow for so much more space optimisation that what is currently offered.

Of course, this is all assuming the next map update will unfortunately not contain a GOC base rework, so hopefully this suggestion is not needed.

If there isn't an issue with entity limits anymore, then maybe. It'll let you customise it, but it also means having to deal with the permaprop loading zones and whatever. If GOC want it, then sure. The base just generally needs a rework.
