Why are you applying for Site Advisor?
I am applying for Site Advisor as I feel I am ready for the move up in position from my time as an Nu7 CO then becoming the Nu7 Commander I want to experience what it is like to move on from leading a regiment of primary combat based members onto helping and creating RP for all types of different playstyles whether that be Medical, Research or even the ETS department. Additionally, I feel that with Nu7 currently, I have supported and explained what is expected of them enough that with or without me as a Regiment, they can still function. This makes me think that I have done all that I can for Nu7 and wish to move on to bigger and better things, so hopefully they can progress and become better.
What makes you suitable for Site Administration?:
I feel that I am suitable for Site Administration as within my time on the server although I have only ever held 1 CL4 position this is a Sr CL4 Position IC and OOC with having moved up the Nu7 CO ranks very fast and I hope this was done based on my performance within the Regiment as this also lead to me receiving a rank skip to Commander when I was only a Major based on my performance within the Regiment during a time when we had no Commander. I do understand if people feel that I don't have relevant experience to be a part of the Site Administration team; however, I feel that the duties and tasks that Site Administration does have links with the duties and tasks that MTF Regiment Command does.
What are the responsibilities of Site Administration in RP?:
There is a large list of duties that members of the Site Administration do within RP, some of which are as follows;
- Members of Site Administration are assigned on a monthly basis to oversee departments and then report back on how well these departments have performed during that month.
- They appoint Department Leaders for most departments, such as MTF Nu-7, MTF E-11, Medical, External Affairs, and the General Security Department.
- Authorising a multitude of different things for the members of the site, such as AA and Passive Breaches during a Code 5 and D Block sweeps when a Code 2 is called.
- They are to assist and inform DEA with the changes to the relationships with the GOIs that the Site interacts with.
- The creation and modification of site policies is another one of the many duties that a member of Site Administration does.
- To provide support and guidance when needed to members of the site regarding any concerns or issues that they may be having.
Please give some lore about your Site Administration character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Charlie, who was born in the United Kingdom, had a rough life growing up, living with 1 brother and his 2 parents. They survived on a low income with support from the government. His parents had been saving money since their children's birth to eventually move to Canada. They had achieved this goal by the time Charlie was 12 and his brother was 14. They moved to Edmonton, Alberta, and now they all had a fresh start in a new country where the tax rates were lower, allowing the family to increase their wealth.
As time went on, Charlie grew up and started to work in the Edmonton Fire Department during a routine call on a warehouse that had been set ablaze. He had encountered an anomalous object that had caused this fire. He had written down his experience with this object on his report once the fire was dealt with, little did he know this would come back to haunt him later in life. Not long after writing this report, the Foundation had contacted Charlie.
The Foundation had seen potential in Charlie and sent him to be trained to become a member of the MTF Nu-7 Regiment. Once his training had been completed, he was assigned to Site-65, where over the years he would progress up the ranks and eventually achieve the rank of Commander.
Charlie had been looking into the next stages of his career within the Foundation and saw that Site Administration would be the next chapter of his life. This would come sooner than later for Charlie, and he had not long after this become a member of the Site Administration. Now, at this position, he had a few tasks that he wanted to achieve, and policy changes within Site-65 now were his time to do it.
Little did Charlie know what had happened to him years and years before, with the fire in the warehouse, the anomalous object that Charlie interacted with held some sort of a grudge, as he was the one who put the fire out. With the Foundation not being able to secure this anomalous object or entity, it has been causing wildfires all around Canada. Then, one day, there was an unusual fire that had been caused by this object or entity in a townhouse within Edmonton.
Charlie was then informed that his whole family, who were all having a gathering at the house, had died in a tragic house fire caused by this entity. Charlie had then set his goals on ensuring that this entity is captured.
