What server are you applying for:
SCP: RP [US]
Your Username:
Sparky
Your SteamID:
STEAM_0:1:569399274
Discord Username:
tlm_sparky
Age:
18y/o
What's your current playtime (type !time in-game):
So, I played before Ktime was used, Through the achievement menu it says I have around 700 hours on the server total but my Ktime amount is 120 hours
Do you have a mic (optional):
Yes.
Your characters name:
Jack 'Sparky' Rainsford
List all the names of the characters that you use (Foundation, Civillian, e.t.c.):
Jack 'Sparky' Rainsford (Foundation)
Jackie Argyle (Civ)
Jack 'Sparky' Ford (GOC)
Is this the first application you made? If no, link all previous applications:
For GM, yes
Have you received any kicks/warns/bans, and if so, why (type /warnings in-game):
No
How many hours can you be on everyday:
In a bit of a spectrum bc I've recently enrolled in college but I can generally be on for 3-4 hours on a short day and if I'm free anywhere from 8-12
Do you have any previous experience as a Gamemaster/Event Manager in a community:
No
Do you have any advanced skills that would benefit the GM team, such as PAC-3, dupes building, art creation and others? If yes, give us your best example of putting that skill into practice:
Not in particular, I'm hoping to get good at these skills through joining the GM team as they definitely interest me.
I have a little bit of dupe building experience, but nothing super in depth.
One time (before parawatch had their house) I set up a small dupe in a pinewood house with tech gadgets and servers that us on parawatch would roleplay to use as "our way to peek behind the curtain" (I was NOT supposed to be doing this in hindsight but it made good RP and wasn't abused)
Please list one RP Enhancement for a Foundation Department/MTF:
Setting up a custom checkpoint dupe for MTF to create a more profound presence
Please list one RP Enhancement for a Non-Foundation Group:
CI has captured SCP 035, placing decayed objects around the CI cell to boost immersion
Please list one Event idea for the United Nations Global Occult Coalition:
GOC Acquire cryptic information regarding a new PTE from a mysterious man in a cowl in the snow, when they try to apprehend him for further questioning the man vanishes before their eyes, the GOC immediately launch an investigation into pinewood and the surrounding area searching for signs of this PTE with the hopes to terminate it before it can do any harm to people. The man in the cowl shows up a few times guiding them on their hunt for clues placed by the GM team, eventually leading the GOC to perform a ritual to beckon the entity out of hiding, a battle ensues and the GOC successfully eliminate the Entity with the use of their ADBs.
Please list one Event idea for the Chaos Insurgency:
A successful CI Raid granted CI R&D access to the foundation SCiP net systems for a limited period of time, CI R&D used this time to gain information about an uncaptured SCP that has the potential to give off unlimited condensed energy, like a portable sun of sorts, the CI R&D team requests Delta Command to formulate an elite strike team to find and record their findings of this SCP, upon their return CI R&D attempts to prepare a form of generator that can harness this entity's capabilities to power their bunker forever without an outside source (Made with props by GM with some creativity), then the strike team is sent back out to try to capture this SCP and return it to base.
Room for Foundation/GOC interference
Things subject to change bc events sometimes don't go according to plan with how Faction Leadership plans on handling the event.
Please list one Event idea for the SCP Foundation:
A facility transfer of SCP-4047, AKA Richard Klein, to site 65, for temporary holding, the SCP will be temporarily on site roleplayed out by a random player, who will read the wiki article to learn about the SCP and it's backstory, during a test the SCP will attempt to escape containment by drawing a weapon and having it appear before him, he will then use this weapon to attempt to fight his way out of the facility ultimately being forced to surrender by MTF forces, he will then be picked up by a receiving MTF force to escort the SCP to his more permanent containment cell.
Number of ways to take this due to how unique and open for interpretation SCP 4047's character is. Maybe no breach, maybe breach.
Please list a Major Event or Map Change idea (Involving all sides and the entire server):
CI R&D has come into possession of an SCP supplying them with near unlimited energy, (sequel event!) through means unspecified the Foundation catches wind of this, requesting aid from the GOC due to the unknown nature of this SCP, the two teams work together to ensure the survival of Site-65 and pinewood against this new development in the chaos terror cell.
More than just a tag team CI raid, negotiation attempts are going to be encouraged, along side a B-Plot regarding the sentience of the SCP itself and it's nature
What elements can make an event unenjoyable? Include one example, avoiding the typical answers if possible.
Things like an event getting in the way of the average role's duties throughout the site, an event being too drawn out, or simply an uninspired event consisting of repeated themes, not enough RP, and not taking into account feedback from previous events
And finally, what do you wish to achieve by becoming a Gamemaster?
This is my first time doing gamemaster stuff, so I want to learn from it (So feedback would be appreciated), I want to get good at PAC, I want to find out optimal ways to conduct events, and most of all I just want to help make the server a more fun and immersive place, and help out where I can
