What does this suggestion change/add/remove:

Now hear me out, I understand as to why injecting SCPs was removed. It was abused in the past, and it is a justifiable reason. However, I think we can reimplement this in one of two ways:

The first way this could potentially be implemented is by only allowing RP based chemicals to be injected into SCPs to enhance RP without the assistance of a GM. For example: Injecting SCPP-096 with Citalopram (Anti-Depressant) to see if he would not become enraged when looking at his face, or injecting SCP-106 with Orange Goop to see if his predatory behavior is negated. I believe that the only chemicals that should be injected into SCPs are ones that do not give buffs, like AMX or NHU.

The second way this could be implemented is allowing all chemicals to be injected into SCPs, but the buff/debuff is outright removed and or reduced significantly.

Whichever way this would be implemented would be beneficial for RP, and it would allow Research to explore more testing opportunities down the road.

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:

Not to my knowledge, and search.

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):

Better RP Opportunities would be made if Injections were to be reimplemented into the server, especially for Research.

Lower Clearance Personnel in Research wouldn't need GM involvement in some cases, and won't need to schedule RP enhancement, waiting for a long time to get a test they want to do done.

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:

Reimplementing this might be abused by everyone, but I have an idea to negate this: Restrict Injections to CL4 members of staff on all factions. Although, restricting this to CL4 personnel on all factions might lead to a coding nightmare, or even implementing any of this in general would be a coding nightmare.

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:

If this is reimplemented properly, with it being thought about and discussed for a while, I believe the content team could come up with a really good system and scripting to prevent misuse of injections being reimplemented. It is going to bring back nostalgia for older veterans of the server back when chemical injections were allowed to be injected into SCPs, alongside allowing newer players to further explore chemical research instead of the usual make chems>sell>repeat gameplay loop.

(I usually try to put more effort into these things, but I am too lazy and have stuff to do.)

+/- Support

The name of the game here is that we somehow stop abuse/exploitation with the injections? Now, realistically, that's impossible, but mitigating it is something that'd have to be done. Hopefully the devs can think of some workaround to add this back, bc imo, it sounds super cool to include chemicals into tests and research, especially with research taking the lead in supplying chemicals nowadays.

Hopefully, the devs don't shoot this down. I'd be 100% on board with adding injections back if we ( or they ) can come to a solid conclusion.
