Content Suggestion Female/Male Suit Model Option Parity

Content Suggestions will be reviewed by Content Team weekly, please allow time as not everything can be reviewed at once.
What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Expand the female suit models' bodygroups and other options to have parity with the male ones.

At the moment, the male suit models have a massive variety of suit/tie combos, including:

That's not even including the bodygroups on these models, such as these sleeve ones for the last two on this list:
1765581282976.png1765581306307.png1765581324758.png
Plus all of the different ties available (of which there are 22 different options).

What do the females have for bodygroups? Literally just whether it has a skirt or trousers.

And then the skins (i.e. the colour combinations) don't even match. The male models have 16 colour options, while the female ones have 7. Want a DEA colour scheme for a female model? Tough luck. Want to set up a job to have matching pinstripe suits? Get fucked - those don't exist for the female models.

So what I'm suggesting here is as follows:
  • Add suit colours for both of them where one has an option that the other doesn't, e.g. the missing Black/Red one for the female models, the missing pinstripe suits, etc.
  • Add some additional model/bodygroup options for the female models
    • These don't have to be exactly the same, but just add some more options - ideally ones that stylistically match the male counterparts. So have some with ties, some with a jacket, some without, etc.
  • Where there are now options that better suit certain jobs, add them to the jobs as options
    • Various jobs for ISD, DEA, EC, O5, etc. use suit models, and now there would actually be options you could use that would actually match them properly.

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
Various suggestions have been made regarding female models, but I don't believe this specific thing has been suggested.

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
  • Better variety of models easily available for both configured jobs and for PACs
  • Ability to actually use the larger variety of male models without making it impossible to get a matching female one
    • Makes it so you have to either not use female models for jobs, or not use the variety of male options. This is good for neither body type.
  • Has a decent basis to start from for the art devs
    • Colour schemes already set, base ideas for everything known, various textures already available to adapt (suits) or directly use (ties).

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
  • Increased Content Pack size -> Longer download/load times and more storage used
    • I think you could at least somewhat combat this by taking the time used to make these to also look at optimising the existing male models. For example, why can't "whether you have a tie or not at all" just be a bodygroup, rather than having entirely separate models for this, and I can see it also potentially being possible to merge some of the different suit types via bodygroups as well (though potentially more tricky - not sure). Some small aspects of these might also not add to the content pack size, e.g. the tie textures could likely be shared between both groups of suit models.

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
Overall, it's been something that quite a few people have expressed their desire for (a broader variety of female playermodels), and there's already a good base to go from for both the base female models and specific ideas of how they can be adapted. I don't think there are any notable issues with this beyond a (possibly small) increase in content pack size (but there's also like 50 billion completely unused models, textures and sounds in there, some of which can't be used for anything, so maybe just get rid of those instead of focusing on reducing the existence of actually useful content).

The issue is that the original content isn't from the same addon/modelpack.

And you can't just straight copy the bodygroup or skin texture. You will need to edit every single one or make one from scratch.

I personally have looked into this and it is a pain to make fit and match on female models or vise versa. ( Im not an art developer so I might do something wrong but i have worked on a few fixes and changed for CN)

aka someone will need to redo them from the beginning, or look for new models with more groups.

So we can accept this but will it ever be done in the way you want it properly not.

I realise that a fair amount of this would require an art dev to make quite a bit from scratch, but like with anything, I'd rather CT accept it and just put it in the backlog to be picked up even in like 3 years time or whenever rather than just deny it outright and then never be done.

Will state here per my last statement, female models are a lot of work especially converting Male to Female body proportions.
IF Sanctum or Kermit wants to do it then it may be accepted, if they refuse, we will have to deny the suggestion as it will not be in our scope and id rather not hold out false hope.
Isn't that the point of a backlog, though? To put things on there that are planned/wanted to be done at some point, even if they're unlikely to be done in the immediate future?
