What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
[The use of other TB powers (such as Ignite) should cancel Bullet Shield, to make it more defensive rather than offensive (and general balancing)
As of right now, TB can use bullet shield while using other thaum powers, such as ignite, which leads to some stupid plays where they will rush out in a hallway, set two people on fire while not being able to get hit, which is all reward, no risk, especially for an ability that is meant for defence, not offense]

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
[Not from what I have seen]

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
[It will make raids slightly more fair for Foundation side. TB can't use guns while using bullet shield for obvious reasons, so it doesn't make sense they're capable of using a defensive "god mode" ability combined with free, unavoidable damage in the form of fire.
It also forces them to actually use the ability as intended, for protection and defence, instead of using it purely offensively, as many TB does, where they'll pop Bullet shield, run out without a care, set two people on fire and retreat.
TB are already hard to kill as it is]

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
[The standard. "Breaks CI gameplay loop, skill issue get better lmao, just use a Scranton"... Only negative is that CI TB actually have to use more brainpower when using offensive abilities, instead of getting free damage.]

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
[Again, I think it would make it slightly more balanced, and require CI players to actually plan ahead instead of just popping shield, rushing out, burning two people and then peeping back into cover to recharge. Alternatively, using another ability while bullet shield is active should make bullet shield consume 3x the amount of energy, as the TB would technically have to concentrate on both incantations at once. Type Blue are people who are taught magic, they shouldn't be master wielders of it.]

Scranton
Yeah because if scrantons were so effective, we wouldn't have a TB or TG problem AT ALL... And this doesn't even fix the issue that I'm suggesting... The issue isn't "We have no way to make sure TB doesn't have powers", the issue is "TB doesn't have to care about their own life because they can use Godmode ability together with offensive abilities..." In case you didn't know, ignite can be used from far away, much further than the range of a Scranton... ✌️

Can't you stand in the scranton to be immune to targeting? or am i wrong about this

You are correct, but 14 combatives standing inside a scranton bubble is the easiest target for the new Grenadier class for CI... Not to mention, you'll have to anticipate it, and we can't just stand inside a scranton bubble, hoping for CI just... come to us... if they're holding 079 or Reactor, then they're not gonna just come out

I do not want to be rude, but this seems more of a skill issue/cope suggestion to me. Scrantons are VERY effective against reality benders. All you need to do is put 1 down and they basically become useless (except TG/TB if they got a really good weapon). Adding even one more thing that can reflect/cancel their abilities would be an immense nerf to an already very harsh playstyle. Have in mind they need to conserve energy and also have cooldowns on each ability. If CI grenadier and reality benders are working together to make good use of their abilities then it's because they are actually using their brains instead of running in blind 😭. Foundation should also either make full use of their reality benders like the thaumatologist or cartographers or just slowly thin them out with their large numbers.

Nah, you're not rude, at least you give constructive criticism (unlike some other people)
Scrantons aren't really that effective imo. It's easy to say for someone who primarily plays CI, because they aren't up against reality benders, since we got no combative TB.
From what I see, Scranton's are only effective when CI has like... 2-3 people holding a point. Once a Scranton is placed down, it's as easy as the TB to simply walk to the back, and let 7 combatives and a jugg take over for 20 seconds, before then continuing their job. And with 150 energy, it takes quite a while to deplete.

The suggestion is purely aimed to have Bullet shield uses defensively, like how it's supposed to be used, and less "CI crazy monkey mode" like they're usually using it for.

And, in most cases, like sudden firefights, you can't just pull out a Scranton mid shooting and expect to live. Especially on UK servers, where CI have entire dedicated teams of players who solely focus on combat. It is rather clear that CI players definitely have the advantage when it comes to combat, as their entire group isn't focused on RP at all (if it stood to me, CI should honestly just be removed. It contributes nothing to the actual server, other than halting RP)

And to reply to @Driver , I'm not making a suggestion about killing TB, I'm just making a suggestion to tune down their offensive abilities to actually have a risk, instead of being all reward no risk
