What does this suggestion change/add/remove: Add "Personnel" to ECA jobs and O-1 tablets. (Arrest Logs)
Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?: No?
Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
1. ECAs will have more information on personnel, which they can use for citations or employee appraisals. (Could also optionally assist newer ISD members when they are struggling to decide an arrest time)
2. With O-1 having the disguise of IE and assisting ISD, it would be useful for them to access arrest logs for any incidents that occur and decide the correct jail time.
3. O-1 will be able to view arrest logs for a background check when recruiting members.
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
1. Possibly given too much information on the higher-ups? This could be resolved by ECMs and SL deciding on the correct boundaries for what ECA and IE can look into, such as Site Admin being off-limits or something along those lines.
2. Dev time, as it was brought forward, is related to the arrest system, meaning the system will need to be adjusted to not let ECA or O-1 access the arrest system but access the logs. (Edit)
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted: Overall, I think this would be a great change. I have even spoken with the Director of ISD to ensure there aren't any issues with this, and he didn't mention any. And with this change, simply a quality-of-life change to assist with both O-1 and ECA duties, I don't see a reason why this would be denied. If there is any specific reason why these O-1 and ECA weren't meant to have access to this, it would be useful to find out through this suggestion as well.
Edit Note: Will mention that there appears to have been some confusion regarding the DoISD approval on this, as I have mentioned it, but the DoISD was busy with external issues, and I'll let them explain it from their perspective. I will still be going through the suggestion, even if DoISD may not support it. Sorry for the confusion, and hope it gets cleared up!
