Why are you applying for Site Advisor?
Since I've began playing on the more roleplay heavy, non-combative side of the server, I've started to grow majorly fond over it. While I did start my tenure on CN as a mainly MTF/CI combat player, ever since gaining leadership CL4 positions, such as DEA Special Agent and Overseer Assistant, I've started to take part in and observe the less visible, serious sides of the server. Whether it's through interacting with the rest of the CL4 players through things like interviews, meetings, etc - or with newer players through leading them and directing them when they come to you for help, I generally just enjoy the experience. I'm hoping that a position in Site Administration can help me improve my management skills when it comes to site-wide incidents and interactions, alongside helping me develop the ability to create larger roleplay situations for the server to interact with. Being a Sr. CL4 position, it's also the next step in my Foundation career, so I thought I'd take the chance and apply for the position while it's open, even if it means I'm given pointers on how to improve the next time a Site Administration position opens up.
-
What makes you suitable for Site Administration?:

First of all, I think I've demonstrated a high-level roleplay ability while interacting with people around the site, both as a DEA Special Agent and more recently, an Overseer Assistant. Particularly as an Overseer Assistant, you're expected to be competent and capable of interacting with other CL4 personnel, alongside maintaining the Council's reputation to newer players. On the other hand, as a DEA Special Agent, being part of the Leadership team of one of the Foundation's main departments has offered me lots of experience in leading newer players and taking control of the everyday situations and incidents that may pop up on site. In terms of my personal character, I try to be sociable and easy to talk to, helping out newer or experienced players wherever I can. Furthermore, I've always tried to play a *character* when talking with people IC. This means acting as someone would realistically in the Foundation universe and as an employee in Site-65. This quality, in my opinion, is massively important for Site Administration, which stands as a pillar of seriousness on the server and to the rest of the Foundation, being the main, public-facing leaders of the site.
-
What are the responsibilities of Site Administration in RP?:

In RP, as the name suggests, Site Administration handles the everyday administrative duties of Site-65 as a whole, not just a single department. This means liasing with Department Directors in particular to ensure their policies and conduct is up to scratch, alongside offering assistance wherever necessary to their fellow CL4 staff. In addition, they are also responsible for the appointment of Senior Site Staff, be it MTF Commanders or Department Directors (excluding ISD) in conjunction with the rest of Site Administration. Another one of their most common and important duties is emergency management whenever incidents happen on-site, such as authorising AA usage or calling ERT early if the time calls for it. Finally, Site Administration is responsible for how the Foundation conducts itself when interacting with other GOIs, though the practical, active part of this duty is mainly handled by External Affairs. However, I do also want to mention that Site Administration rarely acts as the public face of Site Command (usually the Overseer Council), ensuring their orders are carried out on a site-wide scale if necessary, or acting in conjunction with them to enact certain policies or approve tests.

Please give some lore about your Site Administration character and what storylines they would be involved in:

At this moment in time, I hope to play a Site Advisor who has been transferred onto the site, rather than selected from existing site personnel. This is due to my current character developments with my main characters (DEA SA and Overseer Assistant) taking interesting turns and becoming something I don't want to throw away just yet to take on a new position. I will attach a short lore/personnel file to give a brief summary of the character I plan to play as my Site Advisor.

Matthew Pearson - CORRUPTED PERSONNEL FILE

As my Site Advisor, I'm hoping to slowly unredact more of his past as time goes on and add more to his personnel file. In particular, I'm looking forward to the interactions with FCOM and the rest of Site Administration as this character, and hope he can be developed to a further extent if this application is accepted.
