Why are you applying for Site Advisor?
I feel the step to Site Advisor is a good step for me & my journey through Civil Networks. I believe that I can make valuable changes around site and I want to do such. I want to continue acting as a liasion not only via GOI relations, but also assist in inter-departmental issues or acting as an advisor when departments need assistance while helping these departments create quality RP from their issues ( IC issues typically ). One of the biggest reasons I am applying for Site Advisor is to increase the overall quality of RP between departments ( eg: Assisting in setting up cross-training sessions between departments, such as GSD x Medical, with the respective approval from both the Chief of Security & Director of Medicine ). I feel that it helps take a much more active role in Site-Wide RP ( Roleplay loop creation / edits when approved & necessary, not just trainings or events ). I fairly enjoy document work, whether it is simply reading through a proposal or writing something from scratch, it's something I enjoy doing. Another reason I am applying is because I've grown to see how the site operates, and I see the need for Site Advisors to be an active & present body within the Foundation. ( I can provide an example, if necessary! ) .
What makes you suitable for Site Administration?:
First off, I have experience in administrative CL4 roles that provide relevant experience to that of a Site Advisor. I have experience in managing a branch, as I did in medical while I was a Consultant, and the document experience gained from being an ECA. I believe I can produce some of the highest quality documents on the server when given ample time to complete said documents, and provide a high-quality piece of work when finished. Secondly, I know how to act professional when on the server. I am able to read a room quite quickly, and understand a situation based off of limited information provided and make a competent decision from there on. I understand where I fall as a Site Advisor, and what is and is not within my control. My third reason for being suitable for Site Administration is that I am active just about anytime you need me.I am willing to help out whenever I am needed, even if I am not in game. My fourth reason is I have the trust within a CL4 position and I've show IC'ly and OOC'ly that I am able to handle sensitive situations, information, or disputes that may need to happen. My fifth reason is that I work extremely well under pressure, and can make sensible decisions even when under extreme amounts of pressure & stress. When I am in situations under said stress, I know how to keep my composure, and I am able to think clearly as I have experience in this IC and OOC'ly. My final reason is I am able to reamin fair & level headed. I understand that Site Admin typically has to have a neutral standpoint until sufficient information is presented, and I will be able to make a competent, well thought-out decision.
What are the responsibilities of Site Administration in RP?: -
- Select new Department leads and MTF commanders excluding AO & ISD
- Liaise with departments on site for any questions or concerns they may have and either answer them or bring it to someone who is able to answer.
- Support & Supervise GOI relations
- Authorize AA during SCP breaches ( when necessary )
- Conduct audits of departments who are underperforming or having issues to find their root(s)
- Advising Department Leadership & MTF Command to ensure they are operating efficiently, and assist them with what they may need as a first point of contact
- Act as a communications hub for Site Codes ( eg: Calling out breach list during a C5, location of spores during a C3 )
- Authorize / Deny site partial site closures
- In necessary situations, like a 5-SCP breach + CI raid, authorize a Code black and / or ERT
- The constant review of site activities to ensure everything is running smoothly
- Site Admin also ensure that there is a fun, active RP loop via IC means, such as coordinating events between departments
