Body Cameras for E-11 NCOs

What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
A bodycam should auto spawn with either CPL+ rank within E-11 if it's possible to spawn it based on rank, or it should auto spawn on Biohazard, Containment Unit, and Breacher, since they are mostly used by NCOs/Junior NCOs. I think it's a pretty fair request based on the fact that Gensec Sergeants also get Body Cameras.

Has something similar been suggested, why is it different if so.
Not to my knowledge

Possible Positives
This could encourage further roleplay as incidents can be recorded and acted on. It also helps prevent situations of he-said-she-said. E-11 can see ethics violations anytime while guarding a test or sampling, so having a body camera automatically seems pretty fair.

Possible Negatives
I am not too sure about negatives. Maybe more people will get caught doing bad stuff? I don't see a negative.

Based on positives and negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted
If something encourages further roleplay, especially with a combat group like MTF E-11, I see no reason why adding it would not make sense.

Lol, lmao.

This is getting denied like every other time anyone asks for bodycams on a job. The intent is for everyone to either remember to get a bodycam when spawning, or forget and... Somehow create more RP? I don't know how this circle is squared, but apparently it's squared so damn well that you can't convince anyone otherwise.

Good luck, though

if the case is "Just get it from a dispenser", then why give any CL4+ Member or GSD SGTs a body camera? Why make it rules for thee but not for me? Realistically, if we want to make these points, I believe ISD would be the only ones who spawned with one. Most NCOs will forget to get one, literally 100% of the time. If you ever play a class without one and main it, you will understand the feeling. Multiple members of E-11 and other divisions will likely understand this feeling.

I hope this addresses the concerns towards just getting one from a dispenser

I only play Research. Research does not spawn with bodycams. I do not think this has ever been an issue for me. You are essentially asking for your specific group of people to be given special treatment and spawn with bodycameras just because you cannot remember to get it yourself.

While I understand the sentiment, it is still unfair to others. If this was accepted, whats to stop people pointing at you and saying "They got it!! Why cant I???" for basically every job.

Also, if you cant remember to grab the bodycam, would you remember to turn it on when you spawn? If you would, why cant you remember to grab it when you spawn?

Here's a further question.
If NCO's are already forgetting to grab bodycameras. Will they remember to turn on the bodycamera?

I'm in support of more foundation staff getting bodycameras but they will need to be used in order for this change to be worthwhile.

I was mainly referring to the person who mains GSD CPT (Who auto spawns with a body camera)

I do also agree that people will likely forget to turn it on in the first place, but I think E-11 can make a policy to enforce them being on if you spawn with them. Additionally, it's less awkward to turn one on if a situation is getting heated than to pause all roleplay just to run over and grab one! This is also addressing the other person who said they will forget, yeah, they likely will.
