For how long have you played on CG SCP: 2.449 Hours
Age: 26
In what country are you located?: Turkiye
Time zone: GMT+3
Character name(s): Norton Klez
Civilian name: Adam 'Data'
What server are you applying for? (SCP-RP UK or SCP-RP USA): I am applying for the UK server
Do you have a mic?: Yes, I have a mic.

List all whitelisted, MTF, or CI roles that you hold or have held:

Held:

Hold:
Have you received any kicks/bans/warnings? and why?:

  • I got Job Abuse (April 10th, 2024) warning because I changed my job to report someone; meanwhile, I could have just done it in the same character while being in an RP scenario.
  • I got a Fail RP (July 16th, 2024) warning because someone yelled, "Help the chairman! He is getting kidnapped". After hearing that, I started shooting at the D-Class, kidnapping the chairman. That was a warning because I completely forgot I was on the Ethics Committee Assistant while shooting.
  • I got a Metagaming (October 30th, 2025) warning because I was breached as SCP-035, and I was on floor 3 with multiple other SCP's. Then I said, "Do not kill the assistants". I got warned for that because obviously, there is no way for an SCP to know that information.

This is a copy of my previous application. I did change a tiny bit in some paragraphs and OOC information because some of them changed in-game.

What O5 role are you applying for, and why (give the specific O5 number):

I am applying for O5-4. I've been eager to join the Overseer Council for a long time because, as someone who often plays Overseer Assistant, I find the roleplay you can create as an Overseer fascinating. Not only do you craft roleplay for yourself, but you also create it for others. Another thing I love about the position is that most players enjoy sharing their ideas with you, which then unlocks more ideas and roleplay opportunities.

What makes you the best candidate for the O5 Council?:

I believe I am the best candidate for the O5 council because of the time I have spent with them. The amount of time and experience I have gained from my role is now beyond explanation, so I am unsure how to articulate it here. After becoming a trusted member of the Overseer Council, specifically in the Factotum position, I had the opportunity not only to fulfill the Overseer Council's orders but also to issue orders for other assistants to execute. I know what type of roleplay and orders Overseer Council creates already because I have been dealing with them and becoming part of it all along. Not only was I helping them with orders, but I was also helping the council make decisions on important matters. Besides my extensive experience and knowledge, another important fact that makes me the best candidate for this job is the amount of time I put into the roles I play. From time to time, I struggled with the roleplay I wanted to create because the specific Overseers I was looking for were unavailable for a really long time. I believe other players had similar issues in the past, where they couldn't move on because of this. Players in this server already know my dedication to the roles I possess and my overall activity there, so it makes me a great candidate!

What are the responsibilities of the O5 Council in RP?:

  • As an Overseer, you observe operations, research, and other significant events on site and manage other high-ranking foundation personnel. The Council has the highest authority over the foundation.
  • Creating orders and tasks for Overseer Assistants.
  • Creating orders and tasks for MTF Alpha-1.
  • Can authorize Advanced Armory, QRF, and partial site lockdowns.
  • Can call ERT, Code Black, and if the site is almost lost, an Overseer can activate Alpha Warhead.
  • Overseers are players who can create roleplay for almost anyone, so they need to help players create unique stories and events with them.
  • Council can support Site Administration during harsh times.

What are the responsibilities of the O5 Council out of RP (e.g. what applications do they handle?):

  • Overseer Council handles important whitelists such as Overseer Assistants, Commander of MTF Alpha-1, and the Site Director.
  • Overseer Council collaborates with department leaders and Site Administration in external matters regarding in-game policies or other important matters.
  • Overseer Council helps other departments create roleplay scenarios.

Please give some lore about your O5 character and what storylines they would be involved in:

Chapter 1 - The Kick

Internal Affairs Ambassador Norton Klez was a master of disguise. Before getting promoted to an Internal Affairs Ambassador, it was shown that people did not know him too much. This was because he was always undercover and away from the eyes. Only directors and a few other ambassadors knew about the operations he had been conducting. He spent most of his time with a great friend of his Mr Sr. Researcher Maxwelli. He was helping Norton discover the disgusting truth about the directors of the research team. They were taking money and playing favorites to get people into the executive team. Since Maxwelli himself was trying to become an executive researcher, Norton decided to investigate the corruption within the research department.

3 months later, Norton was very tired. Not only could he not get enough evidence, but his colleagues were getting sick of his obsession. No matter how Norton was investigating the case, he couldn't receive the information and evidence he was looking for. He got so sick of it that he chose violence, risking his position in the department. He was solution-focused; he wouldn't give a shit about someone's life. Norton got caught trying to injure personnel of the research executive team for information, so he got kicked out of the Internal Affairs Department.

Chapter 2 - New Start

The foundation put Norton Klez on forced leave until he no longer engaged in risky acts. During that time, Norton learned more about the art of investigation and became even better at his ex-job. He learned more about computers, and he even made his own operating system called Klez O.S. Once he became more trustworthy, the foundation placed him on Site-65 to work as an Internal Security Operative.

In his first week, Norton got noticed by his higher-ups, especially his dedication to creating arrest reports. On day 4, he was called to the lecture hall in the personnel wing to receive the Silver Shield award that was given Dpt. Director Ehrendil Sonnelion. This award was given because Norton improved record-keeping ability in the department by using his operating system, which turns small forms into fully written arrest reports. Next week, he got promoted to an Internal Security Investigator.

Chapter 3 - The Dispenser

The breach at Site-65 was sudden and violent. As Investigator Norton Klez exited a meeting alongside Alpha-1 operatives, a nearby dispenser hissed and released a live grenade. Without hesitation, Norton threw himself between the squad and the blast. The device detonated against his chest.

He did not know it at the time, but the man standing behind Alpha-1 that day was not an ordinary official but a member of the Overseer Council.

Norton was dragged from the wreckage, barely alive. Conventional medicine was useless; the surgeons lacked the expertise to anchor his consciousness to the machine grafts that kept his body from failing. He was slipping away. At the Council’s direct order, archived analytical data from SCP-079 was retrieved from Site-65. Its documented understanding of SCP-4951’s neural-machine architecture was adapted to Norton’s reconstruction process. The procedures that followed were unlike anything ever performed within Foundation medical protocol. Against all odds, Norton survived.

When he awoke weeks later, he believed he had been given a second chance. Norton accepted the Foundation’s explanation—that his survival was due to extraordinary medical intervention. Grateful, he dedicated himself to the Council with renewed loyalty. To Norton, the missing gaps in his memory were merely the result of surgical side effects. He never questioned them.

Chapter 4 - Two Face

The integration had not restored one mind, but two. A second personality, a cold, methodical, unburdened by hesitation, had been born from the mix of corrupted code and invasive surgery. This entity, designated Klez, does not emerge on its own. It is hidden, dormant, buried beneath Norton’s awareness.

Through a restricted codeword protocol, Klez can take control, overriding Norton entirely. When active, Klez carries out orders without hesitation or morality. To him, the Council’s word is law, and any obstacle—human or otherwise—is expendable. When Klez is deactivated, Norton returns, unaware of what has transpired. The memories remain, but to him they are only blanks in the timeline, fragments he assumes were lost in his surgery. It has been seen a couple of times that Klez takes control over Norton by himself, especially when Norton is under heavy stress.

Some site staff have noticed that Norton sometimes stares at the dispensers around the site for too long. Medical personnel are also aware that he is avoiding going to medbay as much as possible. Medical personnel who have performed the surgery believe that dispensers around the site and the medbay itself trigger some flashbacks.

To most of the Foundation, Norton is simply a man who gave everything for the cause and was rebuilt to continue serving.
To the Overseers, he is far more valuable: two tools in one shell—loyal assistant by day, unflinching enforcer by command.

A few months later, Norton learned the truth about his second conciseness and was sent on a forced leave for 3 days to 'calm himself down.'

Chapter 5 - SCP-4951

Klez knew he was only a code. Although he lacked information about the anomaly that was used in his surgery. To gain access to this information, he went to the Chief Overseer requesting clearance to access the file. After 2 weeks, Klez had full access to SCP-4951 and its details. This SCP is some sort of conciseness that can duplicate itself to other machines. If he could accomplish this himself, he could save copies of himself to other devices. That day, Klez went through another surgery that allowed him to connect to any device using Bluetooth. He ordered an old laptop from the ET&S department and placed it floor 3 assistant's office. He installed a farming game on it.

Once everything was set, Klez turned off the laptop's internet. He connected to the laptop via Bluetooth and successfully copied a second version of himself. He couldn't copy Norton because he wasn't made of code. He looked at the computer. The player inside the character was moving on his own, playing the game. He officially created a backup.

Chapter 6 - The Lie

It was another day at Site-65. Norton made a fatal mistake. He hid important information regarding Ms. Arlen from the Overseers. Later on, Ms. Arlen revealed the information, and Norton's lie came to the surface. Even though the Overseer didn't seem to care that much, Klez was thinking the opposite. Klez knew he had to punish him somehow.

After some work on blueprints and some help, Klez built a small lab that was only accessible by the elevator in the personnel wing. He amnesticated every single technician and engineer who worked on the project. The idea was pretty simple: Klez was going to place his original human body into some sort of chamber. In the lab, there was another body hanging from the ceiling. It was smaller than Norton, and its face was... a cube. The idea was to put Norton into a vat where he controlled another body with a headset, without him noticing in the first place, as if Klez chopped his head off and replaced it with a cube instead. He placed the robotic body in the SCP-22415's chamber without anyone noticing it. After the setups were completed, Norton's body was placed in the vat with the headset. Norton opened his eyes in the offices of SCP-22415. He looked at the mirror and tried screaming. His face and the feel of touch were gone. He knew he got punished, but he had no clue if he got punished by the Overseers or Klez himself.

Chapter 7 - SCP-6987

If an SCP breaches containment or a world-ending event occurs, this "firm" can essentially "fix" reality or provide the resources to contain it. This is what SCP-6987 is all about. Members of Goldbaker-Reinz Insurance Group Ltd. came to Site-65 regarding an issue. They were greeted by the Site Director and went to his office in the Core Sector. Norton joined them because there was an order created by O5-2 regarding the firm. During the meeting, the member of the law firm had to take a leak, so the Director went to the washroom with him. While Norton was taking notes, Klez was looking at the tablet that was left on the table by a member of the law firm. Without Norton noticing, he made a connection with the tablet and successfully created a third consciousness in the tablet. Hours later, the meeting ended, and that tablet was gone with the member of the law firm.

Third consciousness had a new goal. To investigate what this firm was all about. Klez's previous experience as an investigator piqued his interest. A few weeks later, he introduced himself to Goldbaker-Reinz and started working along with them, helping the foundation with legal problems and solutions.

Every consciousness that was created by Klez had a different life. One was an assistant to an Overseer. Another one was farming. The last one was helping an insurance company. None of them had any connection, yet they are the same consciousness of a man, so-called Norton, at the end.

Chapter 8 - Why Not?

First original consciousness of Norton was having some issues. Why was he working with people who can't even count? Every day, he was witnessing some bullshit like a researcher breaking the FLC, an engineer cutting the wires of phones, a chef poisoning food that would be served to D-Class. Everyone started to look less important in his eyes. The worst part was that he was noticing some changes on floor 3 too. He watched MTF Alpha-1 break the FLC so many times that he got tired of defending them. He saw Chief Overseer getting manipulated by an ordinary assistant. He watched a factotum break orders that were directly meant for her. Klez knew it. It all had to go.

Without any hesitation, he showed his lab to the overseers. Klez told them that he had prepared almost 10 new robotic bodies that can be controlled by him, and there will be more in the way. The Overseer Council got angry because Klez went through all this trouble without notifying them. He has been told that this project will never leave this room, and they said that it's the final decision.

Klez replied with 'Why not?'.. Why would you let these so-called professionals help the foundation's goals? Klez got out of control and mistakenly woke up the 10 bodies in the room. The Overseer Council felt they were in danger, so they pressed their panic buttons. MTF Alpha-1 personnel stormed in, and by the orders of the O5 Council, Klez and his bodies got terminated. The vat with the original body was still intact. They decided to leave him there as a punishment for what little consciousness can do.

Chapter 9 - New Member

The Foundation eventually became aware of this highly intelligent AI, some sort of anomaly that is helping their insurance group. They wanted to know him and conduct research on him. Floor 3 especially had more interest in it. They needed someone who knew how to get around obstacles and get to a solution for their projects. Once they got to know the third consciousness, they were surprised. Surprisingly, this AI knew almost everything regarding their foundation, day-to-day operations, and policies, and some private information. Instead of making it rot in a containment chamber, the Council decided to create a body for him so that he could become part of the Overseer Council and help them achieve their goals, no matter what the cost is. He called himself "The Virus".

This is a very short application, little effort and says that it is copied from his other application. Now I will go from what I said in your last application! You were a really poor member of SA. Whenever I questioned you about your activity, you ran and tried to tell me off to the Site Director. You did nothing of value in SA, so you will definitely be a poor choice for O5.

You need to actually do something! Because all my experiences with you have been negative. And it seems that you also still have the grudge, as you put a -support on my ECA application without giving me a reason, and I have no doubt of why you did that.

Anyway, good luck!

For a CL5 position application the bullet points listing the responsibilities doesn't give me and I will assume others much confidence in you understanding the position. I really like the lore it's very interesting however it's larger then the entire app, no issue with a large lore but when the main answers are short it really shows that its a position that you want to collect rather then a position you will actually use to create RP for the foundation and other GOIs.

But either way, good luck!

I believe you do conduct good roleplay; however, I would like to see you return to an administrative section, such as Site Administration or a Senior Clearance Level 4 Position.

I also believe the application is very small, and could use some more work on it, especially for why you are applying.

I believe you could be a fairly good member of the council; however, at this time, I cannot support it.

Pleasant person to roleplay with. Had some meaningful, interesting situations with him. I genuinely don't get why people make such a fuss about assistants - you can be deeply involved, carrying real responsibility, already neck-deep in political bickering (or you cannot and simply vibe) as one. Flat-out refusing someone over some notion that a title is required seems rather silly to me. Application seems fine and reads well. What do you expect, your own wiki entry? Lore is pretty nifty.

Thanks for the comment. In general, when I am making applications, I try to write them in a way that I don't write too much because I think I usually just start repeating myself or get off the main topic that the application wants me to talk about. So, I put time into my applications, making sure the application itself is not too long, but also that when someone reads it, they will know I do have an understanding of what I am going for.

I made this mistake originally when I got into the interview process for the Director of Internal Affairs whitelist (Whoa, I was in the US?). I basically spoke and wrote too much. I am pretty sure I bored the guy who was interviewing me, and I was told the same thing. After that interview, I made sure I did not write or speak too much in my applications and interviews. You can also check my previously accepted applications in the OOC Information in this application. Almost all of them are the same length.

The main reason the lore is long is that I actually spent maybe more than a month writing that thing originally (Not the application, the actual lore itself). What you see in this application is the summary of the events that happened.

Thank you for your comment. I am not going to talk about why my application looks small because I believe I did explain myself in the previous comment. As for the comment regarding the senior clearance four position, I am not sure if I want to go for site administration ever again. You can see my reasoning for that in my previous O5 application. If my applications get denied, I think I will try to get into external affairs, considering it has combat but also GOI relations.

What RP have you created in between your last application and why should the verdict be different to the last one?

Since my last application, I have had an interest in Chaos Insurgency. I wanted to give a bit of a break from the roleplay and instead focus on the combative side of the server. I went way more active on CI than my OSA character. A few months later, I decided to take a break from CI and resigned from the CO position. Recently, I became a game master, and I love creating unique stuff with the position I am holding. I made 1 event so far, where I spent DAYS on it, making everything as perfect as possible. It was called 'The Anomalous Elevator' (Medal clip of a fun part), where an elevator was taking players to random places (a total of 5 rooms with unique designs), and each place had a different concept of roleplay ongoing. The last 2 weeks, I have been working on the second part (hopefully it will be soon).

I think the verdict might be different because, after the denial of my application, I obviously spoke regarding my application. I completely understood it. I believe my recent short experience as a TGM supports my application positively.

-support.

Low effort application, no recent snr cl4 experience, and the only snr cl4 experience that you had was a e11 lt.

Go for site admin or department director first. Make some unique roleplay and find why being an o5 would allow you to augment that roleplay.

I mean, since you were an O5-1, you are aware that this position does not have any requirement for senior clearance level four experience (Yeah, I know it's a good thing to have for this type of application). Also, I was a site advisor before, but I did not hold the position for too long, because of the experience I received from the department. As for the low-effort application note from your side, please do read my previous comments. You will see why. I still put effort into my applications, and I even start making them way before there is an open position.

As an O5/ECM, you are Senior RP Lead and are responsible for various aspects of the servers health in said positions.

Not sure if you have the essential experience for this at this moment in time
