Do you have a mic?: Yes
List all whitelisted, MTF, or CI roles that you hold or have held:
- [Holding] Security Sergeant
Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?:
Why are you applying for Security Captain?
The reason for my application would be that i absolutely love being in GENSEC and be surrounded by my Comrades. I feel like that there are no other place for me than in Dblock. It's the place where we meet people for the first time when we arrive and the most chaotic in the whole Foundation. As a person i always strive for to help new player that first arrive to the Server and the interactions there will never cease to amaze me. Becoming a Security Captain and CL4 will give me new duties, but also strengthen my ability to fulfill the duties I already own. I believe becoming a Security Captain will open up new opportunities for me in the future, but also make me apart of a community here, where at the end of the day, I can actually just have a good time and enjoy myself. ( Also i can be free of getting my nose broken by Bob)
What makes you suitable for Security Captain?:
I believe that the time i've spent in the Security Department lead me to strive for greater heights and i would say that the knowledge i've gained over the time makes me comfortable enough to lead as a Captain. I know there may be times where i tend to behave like a cadet that has been put on several high doses of medication but i feel like that i'm overall capable enough to get stuff done and help those in need whenever it comes around the Security Department. Although I do not have any previous CL4 experience, compared to the other candidates, i'm able to adapt in new surroundings and confident enough to fulfill the duties bestowed upon me. This would be the chance to actually prove myself that i'm capable to put the things i have in my little head's reality, so I believe I will do my best progressing in GENSEC compared to all other pathways. GENSEC will reach the stars under my leadership and those who believe in me.
What are the responsibilities of the Security Captain in RP?:
- Making sure to maintain Order in Dblock.
- Authorizing and leading sweeps in D-Block.
- Leading GENSEC during the several codes.
- Hosting RCL and HWL tryouts.
- observing and ensuring that GENSEC follow the guidelines and their assigned duties.
- Giving out Work permits.
- Defending and preparing Dblock against Threats.
- Keeping an Eye out for potential candidates for sergeant and performing the following interview with them.
- Fulfill orders given by the Chief of Security.
Please give some lore about your Security Captain character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Johnny Bomba wasn’t the smartest man around. He wasn’t even second smartest. If you asked him what 2 + 2 was, he’d stare at the ceiling for a minute before confidently saying, "Purple." He also wasn’t brave. One time, he screamed because he thought a coat rack was "standing aggressively." Despite this, Johnny had one defining trait: He believed that everyone was secretly plotting against him. The cashier? Planning something. The mailman? Definitely a spy. The neighbor’s cat? Government operative.
Johnny hit rock bottom during a family game night. They were playing Monopoly. Johnny was losing. His grandmother looked at him and said, "Johnny, I think you accidentally skipped collecting $200." Johnny froze. "Accidentally?" His grandfather chuckled. "That’s our Johnny." Johnny saw this as psychological warfare. "They know." "They’ve been manipulating the economy." In a dramatic overreaction that historians call "the dumbest motive for a murder ever recorded," Johnny killed both his grandparents because he thought they were cheating at Monopoly to control the global banking system. There was no evidence. They were just forgetful. Johnny got arrested within minutes. During questioning, he proudly said, "They would’ve won if I hadn’t stopped them." The detective sighed. "No, Johnny, the game was over three hours ago."
Eventually, Johnny was sent to Site-65 as a D-Class prisoner. Nobody knew why he was there. Some thought regular prisons couldn’t handle someone who tried to interrogate vending machines. Life as a D-Class didn’t make him smarter. In fact, it got worse. He once spent forty five minutes trying to open an automatic door. It opened outward. One day, Johnny saw a scientist carrying important papers. He pointed dramatically. "He’s stealing that clipboard!" The scientist replied, "...it’s my clipboard." Johnny nodded. "Exactly what a thief would say." Strangely, Johnny was very obedient. If someone said, "Johnny, stand there." He stood there. Sometimes for hours. One researcher forgot about him. Johnny stood for six straight hours until someone asked, "Johnny, why are you still here?" "You didn’t say I could leave." Eventually, the Foundation noticed something interesting.
Johnny couldn’t outsmart anomalies. He couldn’t outfight anomalies. He couldn’t even outwalk anomalies. But... He followed orders with almost supernatural dedication. After years of proving he could be trusted with simple tasks and only simple tasks Johnny was promoted to Cadet. The news shocked everyone. Mostly Johnny. "I got promoted?" "Yes." "Does that mean I'm fired?" "No." "Oh." Years went by. Against all odds, Johnny climbed the ranks. Guard. Officer. Then finally... Sergeant. No one knew how. Some thought it was determination. Others thought smarter candidates had quit. One administrator simply wrote, "Statistically impossible." However, there was one problem. Johnny hated bald people. Nobody knew why. Someone once asked. Johnny replied, "They know what they did." Nobody knew what "they" did. Neither did Johnny. Whenever a bald scientist entered the room, Johnny became suspicious. "Look at him." "...Johnny, that’s Agent Tom Specter." "Exactly." "He’s literally just drinking coffee." "That’s how they hide." One day the Site Director gave Johnny a mission. "Escort Agent Specter safely across the site." Johnny stared at the completely Agent. "...Do I have another assignment?" "No." Johnny sighed like someone carrying a heavy load. "This is gonna be the longest day of my life." Surprisingly... Johnny protected Agent Thomas Specter perfectly. He stopped doors from closing on him. Warned him about wet floors. Even pushed him out of the way of a runaway cart. When asked why he protected someone he disliked, Johnny shrugged. "I hate bald people." "...Right." "But I hate paperwork even more."
Years later, Johnny Bomba became something of a legend at Site-65. Not because he was smart. Not because he was brave. Not because he was heroic. But because nobody could explain how a paranoid ex-convict who killed his grandparents over a Monopoly misunderstanding somehow became Sergeant Johnny Bomba. The official Foundation report concluded: Strengths: Loyal. Reliable. Surprisingly good under supervision. Weaknesses: Intelligence. Courage. Common sense. Logic. Monopoly. Bald people. And somewhere in the Foundation archives, beneath many classified documents, sat a handwritten sticky note: "Do NOT let Sergeant Bomba play board games."
