Like there is 4-5 spots in ISD/DEA each same for Nu7/E-11. But Medical, Research, and GSD have 2? I find it kind if dumb espically as each of those 3 departments are main departments needing a good amount of leadership. I've been a Consultant for about a collective 9 months (3 months was in 2023). But in these 6 months I've had this year I've only had one to 2 chances to get a SR. CL4 and one of them is SA where you need SR. CL4 EXP. I just want to hear other peoples opinions on this.
NGL it is way harder to be a SR. CL4 in Research, GSD, and Medical compared to other departments.

Honestly I don’t think this is this isn’t a massive problem for two out of the three departments you mention as at least one of the two department leads are at least relatively active and do not require as much input directly as other departments. Research however I think should be increased to three as research directors have a lot more influence and powers over granting more restrictive tests (Euclid x Euclid + iirc) and have a larger role in larger scale projects compared to what I’ve seen from the three

But why do DEA have 5 SR. CL4 They really don't like compared to medical which actively do RP and can change many things on site. This is also a progression thing cause I am just stuck at the minute and getting a SR.CL4 is going to take another 3-4 months on top of my 6 continuous months on the server ( not counting my time before these 6 months). I find it dumb people who have less experince and time on the server can easily get a SR.CL4 while I'm stuck as a Consultant cause there is one spot that opened in easily over 7 months and I couldn't get it.
Honestly, Research are the backbone of the servers roleplay let's be honest without research it's just combat pvp, no d class getting tested etc, they should increase research personal slots and make it easier to get CL4, but also it's kinda weird because some guy joined the server with a total level of 30 and got executive researcher, so honestly i think it's just who you're friends with as many many feedback posts of this community state that.
Just a question would you want more director or reaserch slots or add a new reaserch job inbetween exec and director something like maj for mtf? If so what would the different be between them other then them being snr cl4. Same for gsd or medical too.
All mtf have commander and ltcom like every department has two directors or similar. Then mtfs have lt and cpts wich is a cl4 junior. Really only difference is that mtfs also has Majors and i dont think they should be removed.

Considering both ISD and DEA have 6 Sr. CL4 And MTFS have 4-5 I guess…. But there is also less work load from an OOC perspective in RSD Medical and GSD so I think it balances out icl.

That is fairly true because they almost always want someone with previous experience or else the person has to be perfect (in a good few cases)
