Ethan | Icarus is a Senior Administrator and Programmer for Civil Networks, contributing to the community across both its staff and development teams.
Joining the Civil Networks community in 2025, Ethan has since progressed into a senior position within the SCP-RP staff team. As a Senior Administrator, he helps oversee the day-to-day running of the server, handling higher-level administrative matters and supporting the wider staff team. He is also involved in areas such as staff and Game Master applications, player appeals, and discussions surrounding the interpretation and enforcement of server rules.
Alongside his administrative responsibilities, Ethan is a member of the Civil Networks Programming Team as a Programmer. In this role, he contributes to the development and maintenance of the custom systems and content that underpin Civil Networks' Garry's Mod servers. His position within both teams gives him experience with the community from two different perspectives: helping manage the live server and its players while also contributing technically to its continued development.
Ethan is additionally a Group Moderator on the Civil Networks forums, further extending his involvement in the moderation and management of the wider community.
Through his combined work as a Senior Administrator, Programmer, and Group Moderator, Ethan has become involved in several different areas of Civil Networks, ranging from development behind the scenes to the everyday administration of SCP-RP.
