Why are you applying for Special Agent?
I'm looking to elevate myself and have the opportunity to do more within DEA. So far, it's been a pleasant experience and I'd like to dedicate my time and energy to this new experience. My liking towards DEA had come naturally after retiring from E-11 and I feel like this change of pace deserves my attention and skills.
I believe that this might also push me to work harder, and smarter, while also broadening my knowledge within the department, and of external regiments.
What makes you suitable for Special Agent?:
I have a vast history of leading, having responsibilities, regulating behavior and bias, and a long time good standing as a member of Site 65. I've not held many Clearance 4 positions, but I have acquainted myself with numerous departments and regiments, understanding how they function, their goals in response to ours, and how to properly align myself within the Site. To put it simply, I believe I am suitable due to my experiences, and ability to adapt.
How many documents have you written? What makes a document good?:
Within the server, I have only written 3 Research Documents which have been graded, receiving Excellent on all 3. Then as an OSA, I have written a few documents, mainly on slightly fixing and altering standard work permits, prior to the shift, and temporary position elevations as an 'assistant to an assistant' type deal. From what I can tell, a document is only good if its clear, concise, and explains things with good clarity. Quality is more, if not, just as important as length when writing a document. A document may look fancy and has length but its overall value is determined by quality, if the information is explained properly, has examples or backing from proper personnel, has correct clearance information and mark(depending on what the document is for).
What are the responsibilities of the Special Agent in RP?:
Special Agents are the first rank of Clearance 4 within DEA. They have a lot of responsibilities, which include, but are not limited to, leading members of DEA, guiding and assisting agents, training new agents on standard procedures, hosting tryouts to look for potential senior agents. Aside from these, they are also the main person in charge when Managers or Directors are unavailable, handling GOI threats and relations while also enforcing policies within DEA.
Please give some lore about your Special Agent character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Jax 'Thresh' Mundane doesn't really have any official lore just yet. He is more of an ethical person, and does his due diligent to actively follow the FLC, CoE, and CoC to the best of his ability. He would be mostly interested in surface relations and trying to improve relations with friendly GOI. He currently has no goals regarding this due to the lack of GOI activity recently.
Aside from this, he would prioritize assisting foundation ops, and ensure site security along with members of Site Security like GSD, E-11, FISA, LE. He takes the threat of anomalous entities very seriously, and would seek out these entities to contain, or assist in recontainment.
