What can you bring to the Global Occult Coalition: a vast experience in dealing with SCPs and other GoI's. Additionally high proficiency in the use of firearms and special equipment for the right causes. Also very high roleplay capabilities.
Why do you want to join the Global Occult Coalition?: I love the Global Occult Coalition in terms of their goals, equipment and structure. I also love the amount of requirements needed to join it, meaning it will be alot better with alot better people than the Chaos Insurgency. I truly believe that this will become the greatest force that CN SCP-RP surface has ever seen and I wish to be a part of it.
Why was the Global Occult Coalition founded?: After the seventh occult war, during which the GOC was known as the "Allied Occult Initiative" which consisted 108 anomalous organizations, the countries of the world wished for their own permanent Initiative against the anomalous. Since they couldn't hire the Foundation and no country could be trusted alone the Global Occult Coalition was born under the flag of the United Nations to protect the world from the anomalous and occult.
What does the PHYSICS, PSYCHE, and PTOLEMY Divisions specialize in and give an example of some functions they do:
PHYSICS DIVISION: Tasked with the observation, investigation, and capture/neutralization of Threat Entities. Contains Strike teams and Assessment Teams
PSYCHE DIVISION: They handle the GOC's politics. Tasked with liaising with the paranormal community and maintaining peace between humanity and the occult powers.
PTOLEMY DIVISION: Tasked with supporting the other Divisions of the GOC and maintaining the organization's smooth operation. They handle Research and logistics, such as studying anomalies, providing education on them and developing equipment.
What Are the Global Occult Coalition's goals?: Roughly: Protect mankind and destroy all parathreats.
But specifically they have a Five-Fold Mission that goes as follows:
Survival: The GOC has to protect the human race against all paranormal threats, and this mission takes priority over all other four.
Concealment: The GOC has to keep the knowledge of paranormal threats secret, as exposure of said threats could lead to mass panic and, eventually, massive casualties in the wider civilian population.
Protect: The GOC always tries to protect individual humans, both operatives and civilians, whenever possible, as long as it does not go against the first two previous statements.
Destruction: The GOC should not take any risk with the survival of paranormal threats, as the very existence of the anomalous could be a risk to the human race's survival.
Education: The GOC should always expand their knowledge of paranormal threats, and to study said threats, as long as it does not go against the four previous statements.
Please explain The Seventh Occult War: The Seventh Occult war was a war considered a "Shadow" war meaning it was, for the most part, hidden from the civilian population. It happened alongside the second World War and was fought mostly by the Allied Occult Initiative, which consisted of many occult organizations located in the allied countries, which fought against the Thule Society and Ahnenerbe Obskuracorps which was an occult organization belonging to the nazi regime.
What makes the Global Occult Coalition different in in-comparison to the other groups within the SCP-universe in your view?: They have an alot more militaristic view of the anomalous world, being arguably the greatest force to protect mankind from the dangers of the anomalous world while also being the greatest threat to the none dangerous side of the anomalous world as well. It cannot be doubted that the GOC's harsh actions do save the world from time to time.
