What makes you the best candidate for Ethics Committee Assistant?:

For a long time, I have been a researcher on the Ethics Committee. As an Internal Security Department (ISD) agent, I was deeply impressed by the work of the Ethics Committee. My curiosity led me to research their lore and understand what they do.

Over time, I began to take an interest in the role of Ethics Committee Assistant (ECA). I explored what the position entails and how I could become part of the Ethics Committee. As a roleplay enthusiast, I am always eager to embrace new opportunities for immersive roleplay.

During my time as an ISD agent, I diligently ensured that everyone followed the FLC, aspiring to embody the qualities of an ECA. Now, as a current member of Omega-1, I have gained even more opportunities to learn about the Ethics Committee and its operations.

I have observed other Ethics Committee Assistants and studied how they fulfill their responsibilities. With my experience, dedication, and passion for roleplay, I believe I am ready to join the Ethics Committee and take on the role of Ethics Committee Assistant.

James 'Kenraali' is a man who migrated from Finland. A few years ago, during a holiday, he decided to move to Canada in search of a better life. Growing up in a challenging neighborhood in Finland, James yearned for a fresh start—somewhere with similar weather, better job opportunities, and an escape from his traumatic past.

One day, while searching for jobs, he came across an intriguing position near his new hometown in Canada. "Why not?" he thought. It was a great-paying job and offered the fresh start he needed.

James began his career as a janitor. From there, his hard work and dedication allowed him to transition into the General Security Department as a cadet. He quickly rose through the ranks, eventually joining the Internal Security Department.

After proving himself, James moved on to the Mobile Task Force Nu-7, where he earned the rank of Corporal. Seeking new challenges, he transferred to the Omega-1 regiment. It was there that he gained deep insights into the operations of the Ethics Committee.

James became fascinated by their work and thought to himself, "Maybe one day I could become a member of the Ethics Committee." With his extensive experience in leadership, his willingness to present innovative ideas, and his commitment to improving the workplace, James had the skills and drive to pursue that goal. Which After he joined.

On a bright morning at site-◼◼

Ethics Committee Assistant James 'Kenraali' is abruptly woken by a loud knock at his door.

Startled, he gets up and heads to the door to see what’s going on, mumbling to himself, “Who could possibly be here at this hour?” As he approaches, he notices a bright folder partially visible under the door.

Picking it up, he reads the label: "Ethics Committee Only. Classified." James mutters, “Why couldn’t they just show me this when I’m at the office? Oh well, I’ll just keep it with me and read it at work.”

Later that day, in the Ethics Committee Assistant’s office, James sits down and begins reading the folder’s contents. “Oh, reports from the latest tribunal? Let’s see,” he says to himself, flipping through the pages.

He reads aloud, “The defendant has been found guilty of the following:

  • Murder: Level 2
  • Misuse: Level 1
  • Theft: Level 1.”
“Well, that’s good. No one’s above the law, and justice has been served,” James remarks.

Turning to the next page, something catches his eye. “Oh?” he says, noticing a report on FLC violations. His attention sharpens as he reads further. “A group of janitors has been caught attempting to unionize against the Foundation for better pay.”

James ponders the situation and comes up with an idea to present at the next meeting. He begins drafting a presentation, thinking aloud, “We’re in dire need of cracking down on FLC violations. Maybe I could convince the higher-ups to allocate more funding to the Internal Security Department. Their budget has been stretched thin this year.”

A week later, James’s turn comes up at the Ethics Committee meeting. He prints copies of his presentation and confidently delivers it to the assembled members. The chairman of the Ethics Committee thanks James for his well-thought-out proposal, and the room erupts in applause. James smiles and thanks everyone for their time and support.

The next day, on his way to the office, James bumps into a departmental manager from the Internal Security Department. The manager greets him warmly, “Hey, James! How have you been? The Internal Security Department could really use more funding—you know, our budget has taken some cutbacks this year.”

James replies, “I’m doing well, thank you! We’re currently working on something to address the funding issue. It’s essential to ensure the site remains a safe and secure workplace.”

The manager thanks James for the update and heads off, leaving James to continue to his office. As he walks, James feels a sense of pride in what he has accomplished and looks forward to making further contributions to the Foundation.

In my opinion this application is lacking quite a lot and to note your lore is longer then the actual application itself. My suggestion is going a bit more indepth of what ECAs do and describe the responsibilities a bit better.

My current stance is Neutral
Thank you for your response, i tried 1 lore, but it was very short, and if you take for example other eca applications, they also have very long lores, but they have More experience on the server than me, so they can fill out on something like held positions might have had More.

The lore itself is fine but the rest of the application needs work
