What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
[Remove the knocking for the Glass Dclass doors or make nocking sound more quiet and the sound range not as far]

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
[it will stop being a annoyance to everyone around Dblock and medbay as the recent changes made it so much louder and the range of sound so much longer]

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
[Dclass will be upset that they cant annoy everyone anymore]

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
[It will help the moral of gensec personal and personal around the area it will also make it to were gensec will be more consistent in Dblock instead of walking around the facility doing nothing due to the fact that those doors are annoying as a captain I can say I have watched others annoyed with the sound it makes I had someone state "God save my ears" so for the love of god add this]

Plus the door sound was fine before they added the dark RP stuff. The sound genuinely gives me a headache it's just super loud and repetitive

Thanks for taking the time to make a server suggestion.
We discussed this post at today's content meeting.

The current volume of the knocking is much louder than before and as a result we have raised a bug ticket for this to be fixed although the knocking will not be removed completely.
